Another great sleepover for Maggie at Steves! We're always kept up to date. Steve and Jo are so kind and always check in with us. Maggie is now uncontrollably excited whenever we go near their house. Highly highly recommend!
Steve has been an absolutely outstanding sitter for our dog, Penny. From the very beginning, he showed genuine care, attention, and professionalism. He followed all of the guidance and routines we shared with great diligence, which gave us immediate peace of mind. What really stood out is how proactive and intuitive he was in supporting Penny’s needs. Penny can be quite anxious outside the home, but Steve handled this with real understanding and confidence. His personal experience with anxious dogs clearly shows—he knew exactly how to manage situations calmly and effectively, helping Penny feel more secure. Throughout the stay, Steve kept us regularly updated with thoughtful messages and lovely photos, which we really appreciated. It made a huge difference knowing how well Penny was doing. We also felt very reassured by how welcoming and caring his whole family has been—it truly felt like Penny was in a safe and supportive environment. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve and have already booked him again. He has been an incredible support to us and, most importantly, a fantastic companion for Penny.
Maggie adores Steve and she is always looked after so lovingly. Since we first started using Steve, Maggie will now pull towards his house, even when we’re not going there. Top dog lover!
Steve is a super Rover host, Joey was clearly totally comfortable with him and the family, so great to know that he was being so well cared for! Hoping to be able to book again when needed!

We have a large 4 bed house with a spacious fenced back and your pet will be free to explore, play and get plenty of exercise as if it were its own home. There’s a sofa downstairs where they can sleep and plenty of soft carpets to rest and relax on after their long walks in our nearby parks. Having grown up on a farm I have a natural affinity and love for animals and I’ve looked after dogs and cats all my life. I’ll send you regular photos and updates and you are very welcome to come round for a cuppa and check out the space before making any booking.
Typowy dzień
Once you arrive – we’ll have a short introduction where I’ll say hello to your pet and you can tell me anything you think important for a happy stay. I’ll then show them round the house and garden (you are welcome to join us) so they can get familiar with their new surroundings. We’ll play some sniff or fetch games then head up for the first of two long walks in either rambling Nunhead cemetery which is filled with trees and lots of interesting spaces to explore. Or nearby Telegraph Hill park. Dinner and breakfast will be served at the time they’re used to at home and in between walks they’ll have plenty of activities and comfort breaks in the back garden. We’ll send you an update every day along with photos so you’ll have complete peace of mind.
