We are now accepting new clients! Looking for somewhere for your beloved pup(s) to stay while you’re away without spending the steep rates that large dog boarding facilities charge? Well, look no further! My name is Stephanie and my husband, Ryan, and I have a cozy home in Savage that we've opened up to our furry friends in need of a place to stay while their families are away. We have been professionally boarding dogs in out home for close to a decade now! Our decision to begin boarding started with our love for dogs and the 20+ years of combined experience we have with them. We have 2 resident dogs.... Charlie is an 8yr old blue Weimaraner and Annika is a 3 year old German Short-Haired Pointer. We had 2 previous Weimaraners, who were the face of our business, who have since passed. Lady was 11yrs at her passing in 2017 and Jaeger was just shy of 13yrs at his passing in 2025. We miss them and there is not a day we do not think of them. They are the reason why we do what we do. Those who are familiar with the Weimaraner & GSP breeds know they can be challenging to own due to their high energy, separation anxiety and stubbornness. We have learned a lot raising sport breeds in regards to balanced training and patience! They are the loves of our lives and the reason we began fostering for a local rescue working with puppies and adult dogs. We have also successfully fostered, trained and re-homed many dogs to loving families. Many of our adopters board with us on a regular basis and it’s so good to see our previous fosters bloom into amazing family dogs. Standard Overnight Boarding - $50/night Daycare - $25/day (daycare is held on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday) Puppy Rates (dogs up to 1 year) - $55/night Holiday Rates are increased to $55/night ($60/night for puppies) for the following nights: *Easter: Saturday & Sunday night *Memorial Day Weekend: Fri - Mon night *4th of July (Fri - Sun night if it falls on a weekend) *Labor Day Weekend: Fri - Mon night *Thanksgiving: Monday - Sunday nights the week of Thanksgiving *Christmas and New Year’s: Last 2 weeks of December through January 1st NOTE-We only book existing clients for holidays. We board on all major holidays but request no pick ups or drop offs on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and Easter so we can focus on family time :) Our pick up/drop off cutoff is 3pm on Christmas Eve.

Steph was exceptional with my dogs. She sent texts and photos everyday so I could see for myself that my beasts were fine. It was a big learning curve for them and she helped them figure it out. I’m so grateful to her for providing a great stay for my spaniels.
The very best for the moment I reached out inquiring about her business. She was diligent, attentive, caring and sent loads of pictures. Nala was in her happy place and I could enjoy myself on vacation knowing she was in GREAT hands. I will 100% use Steph again.
Stephanie is great! Our puppy Mila had a great weekend at her place. Stephanie was very thorough and she made sure Mila would be a good fit and get along with other dogs beforehand. She sent us photos and updates several times a day so we were never worried. We would definitely send Mila to her again in the future if needed!
Steph is a super-organized person and runs her business like a fine Swiss watch. Her home and yard are just about perfect for the task. The yard is a large fenced-in affair with obstacles, play areas and plenty of shade trees. She was able to accommodate a last minute meet & greet where she and her Weimaraner and GSP did a thorough vetting of me and my pup in the front yard before agreeing to watch Bowie for the weekend. She sent a flurry of photos of Bowie playing with the other boarded dogs throughout the weekend and our pick-up on Sunday morning was orchestrated just like the drop-off - she and her daughter leashed Bowie and were waiting for us at the top of her driveway; she gave us a brief report of his stay and we were quickly on our way home. Bowie must have partied all weekend. After a bath, he slept for the better part of 2 hours. I highly recommend Stephanie for boarding or occasional socialization as she routinely has several other dogs during the week and over weekends.

Our dog Gus had a terrific stay with Stephanie. And we were greatly comforted about his well-being throughout the stay because she sent photos and gave us frequent updates. Stephanie made the entire process smooth and with clear communications. We highly recommend trusting your dog for a stay here.

Schedule
We have been professionally boarding dogs in our home since 2016 and have a steady client base of just over 200 customers with most of them being regulars! Needless to say, we book up fast and I try my best to reflect that on our availability calendar. We love our customers and all the pups that come through. This is my full time business so I am home most of the time with the pups! If I do need to leave, I try not to be gone for more than 4 hours max.

Safety, trust & environment
We are available all year round for boarding with drop offs from 7am-5pm and pick ups between 7am-7pm. Times & availability vary day to day based on what we have going on as a family. Pick up and drop offs are by appointment only. Pick ups after 12pm will be assessed a $20 PM charge for that day. We will discuss a drop off time that works for everyone at the meet and greet! You only need to provide food, leash and any medications they are on. We have crates, stainless steel food bowls, dog beds, blankets, toys, all natural bones (no rawhides!)…you name it! All food bowls get sanitized and blankets washed in between dogs boarded. We ask that your pup is crate trained, up to date on vaccinations & social with other dogs as they will be integrated into our “pack” when they come to stay with us.

A typical day
Your pup(s) will have a blast running around our roughly ½ acre, fully mulched and fenced, yard, playing with toys, socializing with the other dogs, sunbathing on the deck or snoozing away on the couch. For bedtime, we ask that your dog is crate trained and ok being in a crate at night. Crates provide a safe space for your dog to relax from the day and most of clients are ready for some down time and sleep pretty hard after a busy day! During our meet and greet with you, we will go over their normal daily routine and try to stick as close to it as we can. We believe that providing a predictable schedule for your pup(s) will help them feel comfortable at home with us.
