I care for pets in their home. I can stop by and feed, water and walk them, or stay with them 24/7 (minus a store run or something lol). I leave the house cleaner than when I found it. I let dogs out every 2-4 hours (and set an alarm for night time potty breaks). I prefer not to crate dogs, so I take them out more frequently to avoid any accidents. I stick with whatever food plan you use. I often wash their dishes (in utility sink or outside) if need be. Meds, shots, or any other medical needs will be provided for. I check them over for fleas and alert the owner if I see any problems and can give Dawn baths or pick up flea meds from the vet upon request. I do require a “meet and greet” with you and any new dog for safety reasons (free of charge). And, while I typically watch dogs, cats are my speciality. I am the crazy cat lady. I also can watch birds (I have a Quaker parrot) or feed horses (I have 4 horses).

Let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs or preferences. I can manage almost anything- let’s just discuss it first! I do not have a breed preference, I just ask that we meet one time (free of charge) so I can meet your dog prior to caregiving. This is just for safety reasons.

I typically wake up whenever the owner typically wakes up so as to keep the dogs on their normal schedule. I walk every 2-4 hours depending on the dogs’ needs. I feed however many times a day they normally eat. Walks/playtime are provided ( if they like that) I always them in for bed.

I have taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, birds, horses, donkeys, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and hamsters (overnight, mostly) for over 20 years. I am involved two animal rescues (one with cats, one is equestrian). I’m trained in giving meds, shots (or sub q fluids), wound care, and dealing with medical emergencies. Animals are my purpose on this planet and I’d love to watch yours!

Stephanie is the best! She took such great care of our 9 month old kitten who we had not left before. She is communicative, sent a lot of photos/videos, and was reassuring to us as worried cat parents. She truly went above and beyond to care for our kitty and our house, leaving it clean and safe. I cannot recommend her enough!
Extremely pleased with Stephanie! Had a great experience and will be using her again. My cats usually don’t do well with new faces, but they didn’t seem bothered at all by Stephanie. Did everything I asked her to do and more!
5 STARS!!!! Super friendly, great communicator, trustworthy, honest, loves on ALL animals, and isn’t afraid to clean up any animal “accidents.” She goes above and beyond every single time she sits for my dog and cats, and I can’t recommend her enough. Stephanie has lots of experience with all kinds of animals, and it really shows when she takes on a sitting job. One of my cats is diabetic and can be a cranky boy at times, but Stephanie quickly learned his mannerisms/triggers and adapted to work around his behavior - this experience is rare in a sitter. I’m always afraid to let strangers in my house, or around my fur children, but her integrity has allowed me to go on multiple vacations without worry. My animals are always treated like royalty when she’s sitting for them. She’s truly one of the best, and she’ll win your trust in no time!
