Hello animal lovers and welcome to my Rover page! My name is Stefanie, I am 35 years old & I live in Gardner with my husband, daughter, 2 cats & a bird. I was a vet tech for about 15 years and I’ve been pet sitting since I was old enough to do so! I have experience with dogs, cats, goats, chickens and horses. We recently had to let go of our dog of 13 years. She wasn’t just a dog to us though, she was family. Although we are very sad about her loss we knew it was time and are thankful for all the memories we’ve made together. At this time, I would like to dedicate my time and love to other dogs whose parents may be in need of assistance. Whether you’re going on vacation or have a last minute trip out of town. I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby. We live on the second floor of an apartment building but we love the outdoors and have access to a dog park within walking distance. As well as lots of hiking trails, for those that need the extra exercise.

Not only was Stefanie great at taking care of our pup, but she gave us constant updates and photos. It went a long way for us to know he was having fun and being safe in Stefanie's care!
Stefanie and her family are superb! They treated our pup like their own and it was such a relief for us to be able to enjoy our much-needed vacation knowing that he was getting so much love. They quickly picked up on his quirky habits, and we got regular pictures and updates. I’m so grateful we found Stefanie. We will definitely use her and her family again!
Stefanie was amazing… daily pics of Rex… she took him into her home and made her one of her kids she is amazing and would recommend 12/10…
Stefanie and Jay are fantastic! They've walked and boarded my German Shepherd, Colby, for a week and a half, and I couldn't be happier. They handle him with confidence and kindness, and their communication is excellent (love the photo updates!). What impressed me most was how well Colby got along with their cat during boarding – it shows their ability to manage different personalities. Their husband-wife team dynamic means they're super flexible and available, even last minute. They truly treat Colby like family, even giving him extra playtime on their daughter's birthday. Highly recommend!"
Stefanie and family were just perfect for our 13 year old Bichon who had never been away from us. They took very good care of her and spent hours each day catering to her. She was there for a week and came home her normal and happy self. Their animals are used to spending time with guests and are not bothered by newcomers to the family. We would recommend Stefanie and Jason if you need loving and caring people to care for your precious family pet.

Schedule
The great thing about allowing me to work for you is that your animal will have 24-7 companionship. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home to feed, love & play with your pet! We will keep you updated on your furbaby while you are away with pictures, videos and text messages to alleviate any stress or worry you may have. I currently have 3 animals in my home. I have a very friendly black cat name Roux and a yellow naped amazon called Ziggy. A few years ago I adopted a little striped cat for my husband, her name is Hela. She’s a little more timid than Roux but she’s very sweet once she warms up to you. My parrot keeps things interesting with his funny voices and songs. Roux is your typical cat, one minute he's being sweet and cute and the next... he finds some trouble. At the end of the day, they’re all part of our family. We just adore our pets.

I would love to accommodate the needs of your pets based on their age and personality. Whether it be a senior who needs to take it easy but may enjoy some company or a younger dog with lots of energy who wants to play fetch and run in the yard. My goal is to give your pet the best possible experience when you're not there.

- It is important for me to know if your pet has any medications to administer or special dietary needs (or allergies). It would also be good to know if your pet has a favorite toy or activity. If your pet is under going any specific training, please share with me any commands or little habits they may have. Are there any behavioral tendencies like separation anxiety, toy aggression, food aggression, leash pulling, any history of biting, or bolting? Last, is your dog okay with other dogs? Have they ever gotten into a dog fight before?
