I grew up with dogs (both big & small) my entire life. I started as a pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family, and grew to become a popular overnight sitter for many families in the Davis area. I have many years of experience walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats, some with special needs and medications. I’m a genuine animal lover so your pets will always be in good hands.

I have lots of experience staying with pets in the client’s home for long periods of time so I’m very respectful of the space I’m in. I always stick to the routine the pet is used to. I’m also a dog owner myself so your pet will be treated how I would treat my own dog (with lots of love!).

Sophie worked at our veterinary hospital as a kennel attendant, and in the time she was with us, she demonstrated a sincere love of animals as well as an impressive work ethic. She was hard-working, responsible and conscientious, and she treated all of the animals with empathy and loving care. Sophie showed an instinctive understanding of dog handling and care, and I trusted her completely in her job. I would recommend her highly in any dog sitter role.
Sophie is an intelligent, conscientious young woman with many positive attributes, including the love of dogs. Sophie comes from a family of dog lovers and she has probably nurtured, fed, walked and cared for dogs most of her life. I have no hesitation recommending Sophie as a dog sitter.
Sophie is an ideal person for this type of position. She has been a dog lover since she was quite young. She is the primary care giver for our family Chihuahua. She seems to be able to communicate with her and they love each other very much.

Schedule
My work schedule is currently flexible so I’m not in the office every day. I have time for longer drop-in visits and walks, more than once per day. I can do overnight stays in the client’s home, preferably no longer than 2 nights.

- Please let me know if your dog is reactive to other dogs. I have worked with reactive dogs before so it is not an issue, but I have a dog of my own so it’s best to know ahead of time.
