I’ve been dog sitting for years, looking after dogs both in their own homes and my own. I’ve cared for dogs with lots of different personalities, and have loved getting to know each one. My career is in zoo keeping, so caring for animals is what I spend most of my time doing. My work has helped me to be patient, observant and attentive to changes in behaviour and wellbeing. I’ve also worked at Pets Corner and ran their puppy socialisation hour, which I loved so much, whilst also gaining experience in nutrition and behaviour. My favourite part was owners bringing all their different pets and breeds into the shop, and that made me want to pet sit full time. I’m happy to follow each dog’s normal routine and adapt to what they are used to at home. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime and giving medication if needed, and I’m always happy to keep owners updated with photos and messages while they’re away. I know it can be difficult leaving your pet with someone else, so I want you both to feel comfortable and know they’re being well looked after.
