When I look after a dog in my home, I treat them like one of my own. I always make sure they’ve got a cozy, safe space to relax in and I do my best to stick to their usual routine—whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, or just knowing which toys they love most. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, play, and cuddles (if they’re into that!), and there’s always fresh water and the right food available. Every dog has their own personality, so I take the time to get to know what makes them feel comfortable and happy. My goal is to make them feel right at home while you’re away. There’s plenty of green space near me (park approx 5 min walk from me!) and grass right at my doorstep. I will have them by my side the whole time and set them up a space either in my livingroom with me or in my office space with me.

When dogs are with me, it’s all about fun and tail wags! We’ll head out on sniff-filled walks, play with their favourite toy, and enjoy brain games with treats. There’s always time for belly rubs, a bit of training and of course cute photo updates for their owner.

I’ve always had dogs in my life—growing up with lurchers and Yorkshire terriers means I’m no stranger to different personalities and energy levels! I’ve helped friends raise two litters of puppies, getting stuck into training, toilet routines, and making sure they grew up happy and confident. I’ve looked after dogs both in the UK and Australia, and I know how important it is to have someone you trust with your pet. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or keeping up with their routines, I treat every dog like they’re part of the family.

Sophie was very accommodating last minute. Very friendly, Bodhi had a lovely day with her. Pics of my boy sent during the day having fun. Highly recommend.
Sophie took wonderful care of Daisy for us. She sent regular updates with photos and videos showing what a fun time they were having. Sophie’s communication was excellent and we will definitely have Daisy stay with her again. 5 stars!
Sophie is great from start to finish. This was Neville’s second visit and he could not have been more excited and happy to see Sophie. Nothing is a bother and she couldn’t be more great with answering questions and keeping us up to date with Neville’s visit. We will definitely be back and Neville will be delighted 🐾 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sophie was brilliant from start to finish- clear communication, nothing was a bother and so good with Neville. Poor Neville had an accident the day he was due to go to Sophie (his nail got caught and taken off) and Sophie was amazing, so understanding and took such brilliant care of him. We cannot recommend her enough and will jump at the chance for Neville to stay with her again. Thanks so much Sophie we have a very happy and content dog ❤️🐾
