Before arriving at your home to care for your pets, I will thoroughly review all instructions you have provided for me. I will enter your home calmly to help pets feel as relaxed as possible. I will double check that all doors/fences that I have opened have been closed properly before moving on to the next task. Before leaving your home to walk your dog, I will double check that their leash/harness has been properly fastened.

Is your pet scared of anything in particular? (Especially for dogs: Are they scared of strangers or other dogs?) Is your pet currently in training of any kind? What are your pet's favorite activities to do (fetch, wand toys, tug of war, puzzle toys, etc.)?

I will make sure your pet gets physical and mental exercise every day! I will aim to include all 6 animal enrichment types (cognitive, nutritional, physical, social, sensory and occupational) each day! For cats: We will play your cat's favorite games (wand toys, food puzzle toys, etc.)! If your cat likes to be brushed, we can do that as well! Other activities we can do include: watching bird videos for cats, playing with catnip, making food puzzle toys, and more! For dogs: In addition to playing their favorite games, we will also go for walks on the route your dog feels most comfortable, and if you'd like, we can continue current training or learn new tricks! On bad weather days, we will do more mental exercise instead of going for walks. We will play fun indoor games like hide and seek, scavenger hunts for treats, etc.!

~I've run a successful dog walking & pet sitting business for over a year ~I've had 3 cats for the past 10 years ~I've adopted my dog Callie in January 2023 ~I fed, cleaned cages for, and played with shelter cats once a week for 4 years through FMCA. ~I have 5+ years of experience caring for horses. Also, I took care of 9 horses while the owners were away for the weekend several times.

Sophie and Oliver (yorkie) got along great and she was very prompt and great communication! We will definitely think of her the next time we need somebody to watch Oliver!
