Pet care experience
Hi! I’m originally from the United States and have been living in Gothenburg since 2018. I love spending time with all sorts of animals and I've had a lot of experience looking after pets over the years. I used to volunteer at a dog shelter for German Shepherds, have done house sitting for homes with dogs and cats, as well as drop-ins and walks. I also have experience looking after animals who require extra care such as having medication administered.

Sophia did such a wonderful job watching our puppy Loke for a few days! He can be energetic and a bit of a handful but she was calm and confident with him. She was also super prompt with communication and a very nice person in general - would highly recommend to anyone!

A typical day
While my boarding services are closed for the meantime as I have two cats of my own at home, my apartment is nearby a park and wooded area in Guldheden that is ideal for long walks and exploration. I have smaller toys like tennis balls to use with the dog and if allowed, I have friends with their own dogs who can socialize together outside.

Availability
I have a hybrid remote work schedule that is fairly flexible, so taking dogs for multiple walks throughout the day and spending time with them has worked very well so far. For house check-ins and walks, I can be available early morning before 8:30, lunchtime (12-13) and most evenings after 17:00.
