In addition, I’m comfortable handling tasks like cleaning up after pets, administering medications, and providing enrichment activities to keep dogs happy, healthy, and engaged.

Before taking care of someone’s dog, there are a few important things I want to know ahead of time to make sure I can give them the best care possible. I’d like to know their daily routine—like when they eat, go for walks, or take any medications. It’s also helpful to know about their personality and behavior, such as if they’re shy, playful, anxious around other dogs, or have any habits I should be aware of. I’d also like to know about any health issues, allergies, or things they should avoid, and if they’re crate trained or have specific commands they respond to. Knowing their favorite toys, treats, and comfort items can help me keep them happy and relaxed while their owner is away!

When I watch pets, I love making sure they have fun and stay active. I’ll take them on walks or play with them outside if there’s a safe space, like a yard or nearby park. I enjoy playing games like fetch or tug-of-war, and if the pet enjoys learning, I might even work on a few simple tricks with them using treats and praise. I also like giving them puzzle toys or activities that keep them mentally stimulated. Most importantly, I make sure they get lots of attention, love, and playtime suited to their personality and energy level!
