Information Sophia M. would like to know about your pet
For walking, drop-ins, and sitting, any size/breed is fine as long as they aren’t too difficult and (don’t pull too hard on a leash, for XL breeds). I can’t take on dog-aggressive dogs or XL breeds for boarding in my home, as my pups will be present.
A typical day
I live right by multiple parks, and love to take walks to fountain lake, and the lakes of Byrd park. We can play fetch in the backyard or tug of war in the house, and I also don’t mind going to the dog park (barker’s yard) or wherever else you would like!

Pet care experience
I have loved and cared for animals my whole life! We got our first family dog when I was 3 years old, (her name was Buster, my recommendation “Pig” was vetoed) and the rest is history. We had 2 cats (Brodi & Bear) since I was born, and 4 dogs most of my childhood, including my own dog “Twinkie” I got at 12, and I now live in the Fan area of Richmond, with 2 dogs: A 6 year old rescue Pit, named Chessy, and a 4 year old Havanese(?) rescue named Max. When not around, I travel for work and pleasure, and Chessy often comes with me! She’s been on 8 of my trips so far, including 3 other states! My friends also come by for play dates with their pets. When I am sitting, I will be working from home most of the day. I also enjoy visiting our family and friends’ cats. I absolutely love dogs, I will treat your babies like my own and be attentive to them! I enjoy treat training, and Chessy & Max tell me I’m a great cuddler.

Sophia was awesome! Arrived right on time, managed my 4 dogs wonderfully, and contacted me immediately when she discovered that one of the dogs got into something they shouldn't have. Remained cool and calm to clean up. My 4 dogs really enjoyed having Sophia walk them. She is very professional and great with dogs. Looking forward to having Sophia over to walk the dogs again in the coming weeks!
Sophia was great! She made us feel at ease while we were away from our kitties. She gave them lots of attention and care. I would definitely recommend Sophia
Sophia was AMAZING! She snuggled my boys like they were her own, treated them so well, and loved on them! She sent me pictures and videos of them every day! (Mad props to her since I’m a crazy dog mom and missed them everyday!) she also gave them their allergy medicine which was incredibly helpful!
Second time Sofia has watched our dogs and great experience again. Great to have somebody reliable, trustworthy, and who is great with our dogs for when we are out of town
