When I walk the dog, I always make sure I always hold on to the leash tight. When at home, I make sure that the dog get fed their meal or medications on time.

Let me know how friendly is the dog toward other dogs/people. I would also want to know in advance how big or small the dog is so that I can adjust the activities or the amount of time walking.

I would try to play with them with the toys or do tugs. I would also make them do tricks with the help of some snack. When outside, I might take the dog to a nearby dog park (if there is) so that they can hangout with other dogs!

I have always been interested in keeping a dog since young and would search on youtube about them all the time. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to keep one before (except my brother's dog!), but I dare say that I can be the perfect companion while walking them!

Soomin has done a great job taking care of my dog Butterscotch (45 lb, lab-hound mix, rescue), whenever we needed her help. Soomin was living with us when we first adopted Butterscotch. We quickly found out that Butterscotch is leash reactive, and Soomin helped us take care of Butterscotch while we were getting through the early dog training to address the reactivity. For several months she took care of Butterscotch's daily evening walks and more recently she was also our dogsitter for Butterscotch during several weekend trips and even a full 7-day vacation.
