Animals have been the center of my world for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my home was always filled with pets, giving me a lifetime of hands-on experience understanding animal behavior, routines, and needs. Currently, I am the proud pet parent of Ripley, my own senior German Shepherd. Caring for her has given me a deep, personal understanding of what it takes to look after large, aging dogs who require a gentle touch, strict medication schedules, and extra patience. Please note that because I have a wonderful partner who handles Ripley’s daily care and routine, my own pet will never conflict with my sitting duties. When I am caring for your animal, they have my absolute, undivided attention. While I love pets of all ages and sizes, I specialize in three unique areas: Senior Dog Care: Highly experienced with large-breed aging needs, mobility assistance, and maintaining comforting routines for senior pups. Large Breed Dogs: Completely comfortable handling big, strong dogs. I know how to manage them safely on walks, respect their unique exercise limits, and provide a structured environment. Energetic Puppies: I understand the patience, consistency, and close supervision required for potty training, teething, and basic command reinforcement. Whether your furry family member needs specialized senior care, high-energy puppy play, or just a lot of love while you're away, I'm dedicated to providing a safe, reliable home-away-from-home.

Because I provide care in your home, my top priority is maintaining your pet's established routine while ensuring your house remains secure, clean, and respected. To ensure a safe environment for your furry family member: #1 - I will treat your home with the utmost care. I follow all instructions regarding alarm codes, key placement, locking up, and mail/package collection. You will return to a home exactly as clean as you left it. #2 - Due to my flexible hybrid schedule, your pet will never be left alone for long stretches. I closely adhere to your exact instructions. #3 - When taking large dogs or energetic puppies outside, safety is non-negotiable. I am fully experienced with different types of gear (harnesses, gentle leaders, crates) and always keep a firm, confident grip. I also practice defensive walking—keeping a close eye out for off-leash dogs, wildlife, or triggers to prevent any incidents. #4 - I know how hard it is to be away from your pets! You will receive regular photo updates and text check-ins so you always know exactly how your pet is doing.

Schedule
I work a full-time hybrid schedule from Monday through Friday, which gives me incredible flexibility throughout the day. Because I can easily come and go from my work as needed, your pet will never be left alone for long stretches. During the Workweek (M-F): I am able to pop in for midday potty breaks, backyard playtime, or medication administration. Ripley has taught me the importance of a strict routine, so I am happy to accommodate your pet's specific daytime schedule. Evenings & Weekends: My schedule is wide open for dedicated walks, extended playtime, and overnight care. My flexible setup allows me to offer the perfect balance of consistent daytime check-ins and focused evening companionship!
