Pet care is a central part of my daily life and routine—it's not just a job, it's truly my passion. I run a small dog care and training business from home, so I’m fully present and hands-on with the pets I care for throughout the day. From morning potty breaks and mealtime to play sessions, enrichment activities, trail walks, and downtime snuggles, I structure my day around meeting each dog’s physical and emotional needs. Because I work from home and live on a spacious property, I’m able to provide consistent supervision and personalized attention. Whether it's a quick potty break, training session, or just relaxing in the yard, your dog is an important part of my daily rhythm—and they’ll always be treated like family.

Information Skyla B. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know as much as possible about your pet so that I can provide the best care. I like to know their routine, energy level, personality, and any behavioral quirks—like if they’re nervous around new people, dogs, or certain sounds. I also ask about any medical conditions, allergies, medications, and feeding instructions. Crate training is preferred, especially for boarding or overnight stays, as it helps maintain structure and gives your pet a safe, familiar space to relax. Let me know if your dog is crate trained or in the process of learning. I also want to know what comforts them, what they enjoy, and anything you'd like me to avoid. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can help your pet feel safe, happy, and at home while you're away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and engaged with plenty of fun! Fetch is always a favorite, and we have a baby pool for splash time on hot days. With lots of land, we enjoy trail walks and nature adventures. Plus, they get to experience the unique joy of meeting and observing our friendly goats and pig, adding a little extra excitement and socialization to their stay. When we’re relaxing at the house, pets have access to a variety of toys, puzzles, and enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated during downtime. Whether your dog loves to run, swim, sniff, or just lounge in the sun, there's something here for every personality and energy level!

Loving Care with Yard & Outdoor Fun
Pet care experience
Welcome to my doggy haven! I’m Skyla—a passionate, experienced caregiver who goes beyond basic pet sitting to create a fun, safe, and enriching retreat for your dog. What sets me apart is my holistic, hands-on approach rooted in training knowledge, mental stimulation, and personalized care. I offer more than just walks and cuddles: dogs enjoy a variety of enrichment tools like puzzles, snuffle mats, slow feeders, stuffed KONGs, and more to keep their minds busy. Outdoors, they can splash in the baby pool, explore the trails on my property, or even meet and socialize (from a safe distance) with our friendly goats and pig, adding a unique and enriching experience. I have experience with dogs of all ages and backgrounds—including high-energy pups and seniors—and I prioritize comfort, routine, and individual needs. I also offer training support, with an emphasis on positive reinforcement and structure. Whether your dog needs adventure or a calm place to decompress, I tailor each stay to match their personality.
Reviews

Skyla was absolutely incredible with Gucci over the Christmas break! Entrusting someone with your fur baby during the busy holiday season can be stressful, but Skyla made it completely worry-free. She didn't just watch him; she showered him with love and made sure he felt like part of the family. I loved receiving the frequent photo updates—seeing Gucci's happy tail wags and cozy holiday naps gave me so much peace of mind. Skyla is professional, deeply caring, and clearly has a special bond with animals. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pet like their own, I cannot recommend her highly enough. Gucci is already looking forward to his next stay!

Skyla was very accommodating with taking in our Luna Blu on last minute notice. Luna Blu had never been away from home or us and Skyla was excellent with her. We received updates several times a day with pictures on how she was doing. I don't think Luna wanted to come back home after staying with Skyla. Will definitely book with her again when we need a sitter for Luna.

Skyla took great care of Trigger. She is very accommodating and kept me informed of how he was doing. Her pup Louie and Trigger were great pals. Trigger made himself right at home.

This is my first time boarding Trigger with Skyla and he loved it there. He’s a rescue and very wary and after he got comfortable Trigger made himself right at home. Skyla has two sweet pups and Trigger really took to Louie the chihuahua. Louie is quite the ambassador! Thank you for taking such good care of my sweet boy.
