Cat care experience
I have 2 orange tabby cats of my own. The first one Ginkgo I had since he was a kitten, the other Oliver showed up in my backyard. I took him in and he quickly became a part of the family. Oliver has FIV (feline immune deficiency virus), so I have plenty of experience caring for cats with special needs. I also worked in a vet clinic for a while dealing with various cat related illnesses and know how to administer medication and care for them. I love caring for cats, and I always want to ensure they feel safe while their owners are away because I know some cats do not like change. I will ensure that they have a clean litter box disinfected,plenty of playtime, and all that needs to be done to make sure they feel cozy while their owners are gone.

Shelby saved me in a pinch when another sitter had to cancel. She was great at communicating with me - sending pictures, videos, and updates during her visits. I am so thankful knowing they had care while I was away. I will continue to book her going forward. Thank you!
Shelby goes above and beyond for our two elder large breed pups. I truly am appreciative of finding her through Rover. I’ve loved all of my Rover sitters along the way.

I don’t have a preference in breeds I do want to know what their temperament is before I meet them so I will know what to expect and from the dog or cat in order to bond with them.
A typical day
I make sure that I take dogs to a dog friendly park area approved by the pet owner before hand. If the owner is more comfortable with me walking them in their residential area I will only walk them there. I will ensure the safety and care of the dog.

I have to have a meet and greet a few days prior to be able to make sure I know where you need me to go and also for your pets comfort in getting to know me. I currently work normal first shift hours but am willing to drop in at any time in the early mornings or late afternoons or evening hours
