Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 but have had pets my entire life. Including special needs dogs as mine has idiopathic head tremors that requires medication. Neighbors and family rely on me to walk their fur babies and I love doing it, I've also cared for many other types of animals such as Guinea pigs, fish, cats, rabbits, ducks, chickens...I can give medication to your pup if they have any special needs or allergies and am well versed in training dogs as well.

Shelby was very responsive right from the beginning of my request to book. It was last minute and I was able to go on vacation without having to worry about my fur-baby. We all know that you cannot enjoy your vacation unless you know your pet is being cared for. Shelby sent me several pictures, videos, and messages daily. I would highly recommend Shelby if peace of mind is what you're looking for knowing that your pet is being cared for and showered with attention.

Shelby was amazing with my English bulldog! I received multiple video and text updates during his stay! He can be a pain sometimes and she handled it with ease!
Shelby was great for our young puppy. We were worried because she’s super young and not even 4 months yet and we just got her a few weeks ago. But Shelby took care of her perfectly, followed her schedule and she had a great time. She kept us up to date with videos and photos, and our dog even got to get some socialization by becoming good buddies with her dogs. Definitely recommend her and will use her in the future if we need to!

I have a fenced in yard with room to run and inside multiple toys and beds. I have a very friendly micro bully (Memphis) he's 40lbs and about a foot off the ground. He loves to play with other dogs. He's a fixed male and wants to be best friends with every dog and person he meets. My home is dog friendly and puppy proofed. My neighborhood has a circle with very low traffic and their is a dog friendly park 5 mins down the road from me where your dog can hike with me or if they enjoy the water they can swim. I can and will always provide updates and photos/videos of your fur babies while they are in my care.

Let me know about any special needs, diets, temperament, their socialization skills, any food aggression if they are reactive to smaller dogs who jump and are full of energy who might annoy them. Let me know if they have separation or other anxieties. This information will help me to care for your pup in a way that lets him or her enjoy their stay and have as little stress as possible with the experience.
A typical day
I have puzzle toys for the stimulation of the dogs minds as well as treats for positive reinforcement and for when they are just being all around good (unless of course, they are on a diet). I will only give your pups what you tell me to. (Exp brand and type of food) I work on various training activities with the dogs throughout the day. Multiple walks and outdoor time to play are provided to release energy and just have fun! Every dog in my care will get plenty of exercise and they'll be excited but tired babies when you come to pick them up!

SUPER FLEXIBLE and about 25 mins from both FOXWOODS and MOHEGAN SUN casinos. I am currently focusing my time on dog care and boarding. I have all the time needed to give your fur babies the attention they deserve as this is my fulltime job. My day begins and ends with pet care as I have my own fur baby that I spoil. I also take last minute boarding or daycare requests. Even if you just want to get out for a few hours I work MY schedule around YOU!!!
