An animal lover professionally, academically, and personally! I have 10+ years of experience taking care of animals of all kinds, ranging from our beloved family dogs and cats, to barnyard friends like equines, pigs, goats, sheep, ducks and chickens, and to exotic friends of all shapes, sizes and skin types: reptiles, birds, rodents, insects, and amphibians. I will guarantee your pets' health and happiness with each visit, no matter what their needs are; I have experience administering medication orally and via injection, preparing a wide variety of diets, maintaining clean and safe homes and habitats, and providing whatever kind of exercise and enrichment your best friend needs.

I will follow your guidelines on how you take care of your pet, since I know it's important to reinforce behaviors and habits especially in times of potential stress such as a human leaving or new human entering the space. I will be sure to check in on how you feed your pets and how you prefer them left alone when that is required (crated, in a specific room, left with an emotional-support toy, etc.). For animals that need walks or unusual hands-on care, I will make sure to perform these activities as close to the normal routine as possible. I always make sure to check with the homeowner on their standard of safety, both for their animals and their home. I will work with you to make sure you feel as secure in my services as possible.

I would prefer to know age, breed, and general temperament of your pet, as well as any concerns or outstanding conditions before agreeing to sit them. I also would like to know what time commitment is desired and how you'd like that time spent, whether it's just a quick stop in for a feeding or a more intensive walk, or anything in between.
A typical day
I'm willing to do any activity that your dog loves (and is at their comfort and ability level): walks, trips to the dog park, or just keeping them company at home. Walks would probably take place around your neighborhood, although if there's a favorite trail or loop of yours and your dog nearby I'm perfectly happy to take them on that instead. If the cat permits it, I'm always happy to spend time playing with them (with whatever toys they prefer, whether that's a felt mouse or a cardboard box). I can also walk your cat if that's something they enjoy! For any other species, just let me know what sorts of things they enjoy! If your bearded dragon prefers their alone time, I won't bother them; if your parrot enjoys playing on the kitchen floor, I will happily indulge them. I have extensive experience with livestock and am happy to do turnouts, walks, or other exercises if so needed.
