Sharn’s Pet Services!
Pet care experience
Hi! I'm 24 and have always had a passion for animals. I grew up dreaming of working for the RSPCA or becoming a Police Dog Handler, but after caring for my own dogs, I discovered my true calling—running Sharn’s Pet Services. I’ve never lived in a pet-free home and have had experience with a wide range of animals—from Newfoundlands and Alsatians to my current three Cocker Spaniels. Growing up, I’ve also looked after my grandparents' eleven Cockapoos, my aunt’s English Bulldogs (and her guinea pigs!), a Rottweiler, Siamese cats, and more. I have completed a month of hands-on work at a local kennel and cattery, and for the past 7 years, I’ve cared daily for my partner’s Labrador, Cockapoo & Colliepoo, along with his cousin’s Staffie and Lurcher when needed. For over a year now, I’ve offered professional dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting—working with a variety of dog breeds (Cane Corsos, Kelpies, Labradors, Huskies, Shar Pei’s etc.) and cats, as well as rabbits, fish, tortoises, pigs, and chickens. Many are now happy regulars! I'm also currently completing a Pet First Aid course to expand my knowledge. If you’re looking for a friendly, experienced, and reliable pet carer—feel free to get in touch. I welcome all pets, all breeds, and all personalities 🐾

Reviews

Sharn has been excellent from point of our initial request all the way through to dropping our little girl home! Sharn made every effort to make sure she was free to look after our puppy, picked her up, dropped her home and gave us regular pupdates. Our puppy is just over 3 months old and this was our first experience with a dog sitter! Thank you Sharn for making the experience so friendly, personalised and easy. Will definitely keep in touch for future dog sits 😊

Sharn was great. She stepped in at late notice, came and met us, then took great care of Flynn who clearly enjoyed the experience. Sharn went above and beyond to make sure Flynn was well taken care of and had great, varied walks. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.

I was a little nervous leaving our german shepherd, Teddy, but Sharn put us at ease from the beginning. Her replies have always been very detailed and prompt. She was willing to come and meet him beforehand and she was great with him from the start. While we were away she messaged us regularly letting us know how he was getting on and shared lovely videos and photos of him. She even looked after his ear when it was irritating him. Knowing he was well looked after meant we were able to enjoy our break. We wouldn't hesitate to leave him with Sharn again in the future.

I had never left my 11 year old dog with a sitter before, so was feeling somewhat anxious about it! Sharn was just brilliant. Cal loved her from the first meet! Sharn is attentive and caring, she sent me videos and photos while I was away and kept me updated with how Cal was doing. I will absolutely be using Sharns services in the future and cannot recommend her enough for anyone whp is anxious about leaving their pets with a pet sitter. Thankyou Sharn. Xxx

Information Sharn W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements—such as medications, specific routines, or behavioural needs (especially if they’re reactive or anxious). I’ll always do my best to accommodate and ensure they feel safe and comfortable!
A typical day
My dogs love their snuffle mats and licky mats, especially on days they’re full of energy or when the weather (rain or snow!) limits our walks. I also use them during evening meals—it's a great way to keep them mentally stimulated. Just 10–20 minutes of licking or puzzle play can be as tiring as an hour-long walk, making it perfect for drop-in visits to help wear your pet out! For dog walks, I’m lucky to have access to my boyfriend’s secure fields and often drive to local nature spots. One of my favourites is Maes y Pant in Gresford and Minera Quarry. I also regularly use secure dog fields, ideal for group walks, reactive dogs, or safe off-lead play. Many are fully equipped with water bowls, poo bags, toys, agility equipment, and secure parking—giving both myself & owners peace of mind.

Availability
My days can vary and are getting busier with more clients and regular bookings. For house sitting, I offer 1–2 night stays at the client’s home (depending on whether I can arrange care for my own dogs). If it’s just one dog & they get on well with others, dog boarding at either my home or my partner’s is also an option—our dogs are friendly! If I’m staying at your home, I may need to check in on my own dogs or my regulars during the day. If your pet is ok with other dogs, I’m happy to bring them along. If not, and your pet is fine being alone for a few hours, I’ll still be there most of the time, giving them plenty of love and attention. For drop-in visits, if you’d like me to stay the full time, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate. If your dog is social, I also offer doggy daycare. Please note: I cover areas within a 10-mile radius of my location. 🐾
