Pet care experience
I work at home & want furry friends
Seeking new furry friends in 2026 and 2027! I grew up on a farm and have cared for dozens of dogs and cats, as well as donkeys, ponies, pigs, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, turtles, salamanders, and fish. Now, I am a trained volunteer with the National Institute of Canine Service and Training, where I am a part-time raiser for service dogs in training. Because I work remotely, I love caring for others’ pets at their home or mine (fenced backyard). My husband Brian also works from home and is our official Player-In-Chief, guilty of stealing morning snuggles and sneaking backyard fetch sessions during the workday.

At your home: We will work from your house and explore your neighborhood in our off-time. Your pet will get stellar care from multiple loving humans! At our home: We have a 3-bedroom home and a fenced backyard, with easy access to multiple parks and open spaces for walks. Working from home gives me more flexibility to spend time with pets I am caring for, which I love!

Shari and Brian are such wonderful sitters! Our pup had an amazing time at their house while we were out of town. We got frequent and detailed updates on how she was doing. They took her on frequent walks and other adventures and spent lots of time playing and cuddling with her. We will absolutely be using their services again!

Shari is FANTASTIC! She took wonderful care of Ozzy for a long weekend full of adventures. Excellent communication, thoughtful questions about Ozzy’s needs and the best daily updates and pictures.
Shari is the best! We went out of town for the week, and it was a relief to not have to worry about how our pup (Holly) was doing. Holly was so well taken care of, had her walks and her cuddles, and we got photo-updates! Shari respected and followed all the instructions we left for her, which was super important, since Holly had a previous injury that was healing. Such a relief for us, and such a joy for Holly. We'll choose Shari again and again!
Shari took care of my girl, Ella, for a long weekend. Ella is an anxious and fearful dog who needs patience and kindness before opening up to play. I gave Shari detailed and strict instructions to follow and Shari followed each and every one! And she even gave Ella her daily anxiety medication with no problems. Ella has some quirks but Shari and her husband quickly became Ella's favorite home away from home. Shari has been a great friend for many years and the only person I trust to follow all my instructions and give me peace of mind while I'm away! Shari and her husband are trustworthy, kind, attentive, patient, and most of all, will love on your dog like they are their own. They have my highest recommendation!

Schedule
My husband and I work remotely, which gives us the flexibility to provide high quality in-home pet sitting services. We appreciate a furry friend to break up our days and give us an excuse to get off-screen at quitting time.
