Pet care experience
I loved dogs before I was born thinking I was one as a child and had many growing up naturally being emotionally tuned in to them. I took special care of 2 labs for a decade one from puppy other into senior along with sitting and helping for friends and family. I have also cared for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and farm animals of chickens and turkeys. I have a knack for following detailed instructions and open understanding to all unique pet parents an their furry families needs with full compassion and support.

We left our 10 year old chihuahua mix and 18 year old cat in Shantell’s capable hands for a week, and returned to find our home and our beloved pets so well cared for, it was beyond anything we’d imagined. Shantell has such loving energy, and our pets clearly responded to it. We received lots of pictures, and our dog loved her daily beach walks. We would hire Shantell again in a heartbeat.
We left our 9 month old puppy for the first time with Shantell. I had some anxiety about leaving our little girl and Shantell easily recognized this and was patient with me. She went out of her way to visit our house twice and let me ramble on about how crazy our puppy can be. Shantell communicated well and sent updates and pictures while we were gone. Our pup is full of energy and can be a handful. Shantell took great care of her and our house. We returned to a tired, happy, and content puppy. I'm very thankful for Shantell's professionalism, diligence, and loving care for our rambunctious fur baby! Big thanks!
Shantell is a gem. She stayed with our menagerie or two boisterous young poodles and one fluffy princess cat for 8 nights. We sometimes joke that living with the dogs “a full body experience,” and Shantell did a wonderful job with them. We got nice pictures of their walk and yard play adventures. And the cat too! Shantell also watered our veggie garden through some hot days, and the house was clean and tidy when we arrived home. We also appreciated how responsive, communicative, and detail-oriented she is. Highly recommend.
Shantell is timely, communicative, and happy to help. She is taking our 2-yr-old and nearly 1-yr-old high-energy pups on walkies prior to house-sitting with them for a week or so. Super nice.

I am more than flexible and can accommodate most needs and am working part time elsewhere with short shifts that we can discuss further during meet and greet that also has some flexibility.
