For daycare and boarding: I work from home and am very flexible to adjust to your schedule. I have no problem taking your pup out whenever and however often they might need potty breaks. As well, I am a morning person, so I can take drop-offs as early as 6am and special drop-offs up to 5am. I prefer pickups by 8pm.

Dogs allowed on the furniture and can sleep on the bed with me! I live in a two bedroom condo in Old City with wood floors (the second bedroom is in a loft up a spiral staircase and it is where the cats have their own enclosed space; dogs cannot access them). I always have fresh water out. If your dog will be fed while they are here, send their food with them, I will fully separate the dogs for meals. Let me know about treats!

For walks: I like to know your pup’s triggers (squirrels, skateboards, etc), behaviors to look out for (scavenging, darting), and how they feel about other dogs on leash (say hello, cross the street)! It's very important to know vaccine status and any medical conditions, as well as any resource guarding or toy guarding behaviors first. I also like to know about their history, experience with other dogs, how they are with handling, any triggers (things like darting after squirrels as well, not just aggression triggers), and how they are about calming down. I do require a meet and greet ahead of time to and introduce our dogs before committing to any booking dates.

We're very active! My pup and I get our miles in and go on a long morning walk and afternoon walk. She also loves to play and will be thrilled to wrestle, and when they're both exhausted, it's time to cuddle on the couch or bed! I can also do training reenforcement, to help your pup keep up their skills.

I have worked at a doggy daycare, value safe practices such as keeping collars or harnesses on to ensure a safe grip, am comfortable monitoring playtime between dogs of all sizes and watching for changes in behavior to make sure dogs can have breaks and space when they get too excited to remember their manners. And I love going out for very long walks and encouraging organized on-leash behavior while we get those miles in! If your dog needs five miles or more through the day, we can definitely do that! Additionally, I have experience giving oral medications and working with dogs that have poor bladder control and wear diapers. My building also has an elevator, for dogs that may have or be at risk of developing joint issues. I love taking lots of pictures of your pup for you! Let me know if you’d like some during the day in addition to with their card at the end of daycare!

Shannon has been absolutely wonderful with Pepper. They’ve been reliable, communicative, and super friendly. Above all, Pepper has had the chance to walk and walk and walk for miles, her absolute favorite thing to do. I would recommend Shannon (and Raspberry!) to anyone.
Shannon was my hero! Last minute call I got a solution through Rover, and Shannon was ready for it. I really appreciate the quick response with a very short notice. This was an emergency, and Shannon did the best! Roswell had a good time playing with Shannon’s dog, and Roswell had the chance to walk around Phili neighborhood. I drove from NJ to PA just because Shannon was the only who responded to my request around 9ish pm. Thank you Shannon!
Shannon saved me with this last minute booking — I got super sick on Christmas and managed to find a sweet, understanding; flexible walker to help me by taking the pups out! Rates were reasonable and I feel super comfortable.
