I’ve known Shan for about 5 years now, and she’s always been one of the most caring people I know, especially when it comes to animals. She has a golden doodle that she treats like her own child, and she used to take in stray cats she sees in her previous neighborhood until they could be rehoused. She’s also one of the best cat whisperers I know - strays just come up to her to pet them, and she doesn’t mind at all. One time, her friend’s cat got lost in another neighborhood, and Shan drove us 30 minutes to find it. We spent over an hour putting up flyers and looking everywhere, and Shan was there the whole time. She’s so dedicated to animals that I think it would be a huge blessing if your pet were in her hands. She’s really good at reading dogs’ body language to understand what they need or want. She’s the kind of person who would go the extra mile to make sure an animal is safe and happy. I think she’s the perfect person for this job.
