Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs of my own my whole life, but I was also given the opportunity to work with large breed dogs in a medical and kennel setting and have thorough experience in enrichment, behavior, and compassion. I have a certification in Dog Emotion and Cognition through Duke University and have trained all of my own dogs myself. My three dogs are all retired research animals, as are my three mice.

Shannon has amazing care and love for all animals. She treats them tenderly and with a positive demeanor. She has always had a way around dogs/cats who are unfamiliar with her and would be an amazing sitter.

I work in Chapel Hill and usually have to let my own animals out at 5, so late day walks work well, or weekend care.
