I am currently doing clinical rotations Monday-Friday 7:45am -5pm and will finish at the end of June. I work from home at night so I’m available to take care of your pets during this time. I’d love to take care of your pup or kitten, but want to make sure up front that my schedule works with yours so they get the proper care!

I love spending time with pets and will treat them as if they were my own. I will work with them to ease any separation anxiety or if they are afraid of thunder. Taking a dog out for a walk or to play with them is a great way to connect and make them feel safe, as well as get some great exercise! I would love to meet beforehand to discuss any treatments or routines. This also makes for a good meet and greet with your fur baby to make them a bit more comfortable as well! I understand that is not always possible, and that is perfectly fine as well.

Please let me know of any special needs or medications that are needed. If they have any anxiety due to loud noises (like fireworks or thunder) I will do everything I can to comfort them during that time.
A typical day
We can go walk along your pets favorite areas & play at their favorite park. I’m looking forward to playing fun games with your fur babies! After all that they can get rewarded with a nice belly rub!

Pet care experience
Ever since I was little I have always had and taken care of pets. I’ve had quite the variety, from dogs, cats, lizards, to hamsters, & parrots! I currently have two cute cats that I love to play with. I am very energetic and outgoing and look forward to giving your pup the exercise and play they need! My last dog, Pickles, was such a fun & sweet little guy. When he got cancer around the age of 13, it required around the clock care for the first few weeks. He required multiple oral medications and assistance getting around to certain places. I am very comfortable with giving oral medications (for both dogs and cats), eye drops, and ear drops/cleaning for dogs as I’ve had to for mine in the past. I have taken care of friends dogs & cats whether it was to stop by to let them go potty & play, give them baths, empty litter boxes, or flying out of state to dog sit for two weeks.

Shannon was so great! She was responsive and helpful through our first time using Rover! We have way too many animals and she handled them like a pro! Appreciated her sending multiple pictures while we were gone!
