Dog-loving pre-vet student
I've grown up with and have been surrounding by dogs my whole life. I have fostered 50+ dogs through a local animal shelter to save them from threatening situations. I have been a veterinary assistant for 4 years and have worked at three different animal hospitals! I am an active and continuous volunteer at two different animal shelters. I am currently an undergraduate student on the pre-veterinary track. I have recently started pet sitting/ walking to get more time with animals!

I try to make the pets as comfortable as possible, especially if they are in an unfamiliar environment or meeting me for the first time. I love animals and just want to give them all the love in the world, but understand that they have boundaries the same way people do. I am also very comfortable handing medical treatments/ pill upkeep if the animal needs.

Shannon is kind, dependable and flexible. She took great care of our big, energetic dog with ease.
Shannon was an exceptional caregiver to my beautiful bulldog, George. He was a senior with a lot of medical needs who needed extra attention. I always felt comfortable knowing he was in very capable hands with Shannon. She is compassionate, patient and incredibly knowledgable about animal care. I will absolutely call on Shannon with any future pets we have. I highly recommend her!!
Shannon is one of the first people I would trust with any of my pets. Everyone can tell she genuinely loves animals and she takes extremely good care of her families dogs. I just recently got a new puppy and when I needed someone to watch her for a few days the first person I went to was Shannon. She followed all of my instructions and kept me updated with pictures. I knew my puppy was in good hands and she did not disappoint.
Shannon is a phenomenal caretaker! She’s watched and walked my dog, Millie, numerous times and has been able to accommodate her specific needs. She is a 100+ lb Newfoundland, so Shannon is very comfortable around large dogs. She is also a certified vet tech and in school to become a veterinarian, so there’s nobody else I would trust more with watching Millie! Thank you Shannon!!
Shannon loves dogs! She’s a natural with animals and I’d recommend her to anyone! She’s also a vet student so who would be more capable than that!
Shannon Mooney watched my 3 year old black lab rescue when I went away for the weekend and she was fabulous. Riley (my dog) has very odd traits and Shannon handled her perfectly. She sent me tons of pictures and videos throughout the weekend. She was very kind, responsible and went the extra mile each day to make sure Riley felt just as at home even when I was not there. I am going to send my dog to her each time I am going away because she was truly fabulous.

Zeitplan
I am an animal care intern working part time so my hours change weekly but am pretty flexible. I am available most weekends for walkings and visits and most weekdays for dog sittings.
