One on one guidance, to include basic obedience training if needed. I love keeping the dogs stimulated and learning new things or enjoying outdoor stimuli. It leaves your pup being happy and satisfied versus bored and destructive. In my home I have 4 dogs and a cat.

Information Shannon G. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if there is something special your dog requires. Are they reactive with other dogs? Are they reactive with people or children? Dietary concerns? Prior injuries, etc?

A typical day

Lots of walking, and sniffing. Most walks will be conducted with a loose leash letting your dog explore the area around them. For the senior dogs I follow their body cues "limping, slow pace, etc). For younger dogs I recommend a more structured walk that includes some basic commands. Dogs LOVE to learn and satisfy their person, so a structured walk is actually FUN for them!

Pet care experience

I have 22 years professional experience working and caring for dogs; a majority of which is with Working Dog breeds. I have always been surrounded by our four legged friends. I love taking care of dogs and cats. Dog walking is my favorite activity. I'm retired and now a student. My schedule is flexible, but mornings and evenings are preferred. I do offer overnight care on a case by case basis. I have four dogs and a dog friendly cat. We have a fenced in back yard. I do alternate using crates for my dogs to have quiet time when they get rowdy, but over all everyone has free roam of the home. For in home visits I will work to closely mimic your routines that you have established with your pet.
