Experienced Sitter Walker Snuggler
I have been a dog walker and pet sitter for over ten years. My last role was as an Animal Care Technician at the Wisconsin Humane Society where I worked with animals with a variety of behavioral and health issues. As a Pet Sitter, I feel it is important to visit animals in their own home (where they are most comfortable) and make their time away from their humans as enjoyable as possible. We spend time playing, taking long walks, and of course snuggling on the couch! I love reinforcing training and watching a dog progress. I find working with animals incredibly rewarding and love that my doggie and kitty clients become my friends! I always visit ahead of time to make sure I know all feeding and bathroom and walking preferences so that the pet stays as close to their normal routine as possible. I think this lets the pet more at ease and feeling more like they are doing their normal thing like if their mom or dad were gone.

I always try to stick as close as possible to the animal’s normal feeding and walking routine as well as talking to them and playing with them to keep them happy and stimulated.

Shannon house sat and watched our 2 dogs over an entire week. Shannon gave us daily updates and responded promptly to messages. The dogs were healthy and happy when we returned.
Shannon was wonderful! She watched our dog Lucy in our home while we were away for the weekend. Shannon was very attentive to Lucy and took her on many walks. She updated us with pictures and Lucy looked at ease! We would absolutely have Shannon watch Lucy again.
Shannon is great! Gives good updates and pictures of your little angel while you’re away. She has visited with our cat, Moped, on 2 separate occasions and both times have been great!
Shannon did a great job caring for our two cats. She even changed out the litter! Thanks, Shannon. I hope you'll be available next time we go out of town.
We were extremely happy to have Shannon stay with our older beagle, Leo, while we were away. She sent us daily updates and photos, and we returned home to a relaxed and happy dog. She was very professional, responsive, and accommodating, and we'd love to have her stay with Leo during future travel. I highly recommend Shannon if you're in need of a dog sitter in your home.
Shannon was great- our pup and cats were happy on return. She gave us lots of updates. Overall a wonderful experience. So happy we found her since we travel a lot in the summer! Will bring her back for sure! Thank you!
