As a lifelong animal lover, I've been surrounded by furry (and not-so-furry) friends for as long as I can remember. From dogs, cats, and bunnies to guinea pigs, I’ve experienced the joy and responsibility of caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. Currently, I share my home with a 14-year-old dog and an 18-year-old cat, so I’m well-versed in the needs of senior pets too. I am experience caring for friends and family’s puppies, adult dogs, and cats. Whether your pet needs a walk, some cuddles, or just a watchful eye while you’re away, you can rest assured that they’ll be treated with the same love and care I give my own. My own elderly pets are gentle and well-adjusted, making them great companions for visiting pets. I’m a responsible and cautious individual, committed to providing attentive care while respecting your space and maintaining a clean and tidy environment. A typical day
I believe that keeping pets engaged and happy is key to their well-being, so I always make sure to incorporate plenty of fun activities tailored to each pet's personality and energy level. For dogs, I love to go on walks and explore the neighborhood, play fetch in my large backyard, or engage in some interactive games like tug-of-war or hide-and-seek. If your pup enjoys a good run, we can even have some playtime at a local park. For cats, I focus on activities that stimulate their natural curiosity and playfulness. We’ll have fun with feather toys, laser pointers, and puzzle games that challenge their minds. I also ensure they get plenty of cuddle time and cozy spots to relax and watch the world go by. I’m also mindful of the needs of senior pets, so I’ll adjust the activities to be gentler and more suited to their pace, ensuring they get the right amount of exercise and mental stimulation. No matter the pet, my goal is to make sure they have a great time, stay active, and feel loved while you’re away!
