I don’t work all summer long. I travel most weekends but am available during the week all day. I am off of work until August 1 and then my schedule doesn’t allow for much flexibility.

I live in an apartment complex that is very dog friendly. There is plenty of room for dogs to use the bathroom and go for walks on the leash. I allow pets on my furniture but if that’s not what you do in your household I will implement the same rules you use. No matter how friendly your dog is, I won’t allow other dogs to approach since I don’t know many of the dogs in my complex. I do not hit dogs as a reprimand at any time so please tell me what methods you’re comfortable with me using instead if needed. Honestly, if there’s anything specific you can feel free to ask for it or question me if you need!

If you have certain training rules (no jumping, no biting, no furniture, etc.) and how you set those boundaries. How do you typically handle interactions with other dogs on your walks?

I usually like taking them for walks around town or through campus during the summer since kids aren’t around as much. If you have a pretty active dog, I would love to go for runs with them just let me know!

I’ve had dogs of my own since I was 12 and have house sit/walked/let out my friends and families dogs for years. I love taking care of them like they are my own as I don’t have any pets living with me now.

Shan has dog sit our Chocolate Lab when we were away on vacation in another country. She is very reliable. We had her stay at our house while dog sitting so she had to watch the dog 24/7. It was winter time and had lots of snow. She shoveled out a patch outside for our dog to do it's business. She also walked her even though the weather was bad. I would definitely have her dog sit again.
I cannot recommend Shannon enough. She has helped tremendously with my kitten Boomie. I’ve known Shannon for a few years now through work and I know that she values professionalism and integrity. She truly cares about the work that she does and thoroughly enjoys both dogs and cats. She is certified in CPR and first aid for humans of course however that easily translates to care of animals. Her empathy and love will show through every time she takes care of your furry friends.
