*Unfortunately I am unable to do overnight stays at this time as my own pets have health conditions that require medication and monitoring.* I am self employed and make my own schedule, so my availability is very flexible. I can be available on short notice and do multiple pop-ins a day.

A typical day
I would take them on their favorite walking route or to their dog park. I would initiate play with their favorite games like tug-of-war, fetch, and catch-the-mouse. Id offer as much affection as their willing to receive or engage in trust building exercises if required. I will always abide strictly by the activities approved by the owner.

I have always had pets of my own and started providing pet sitting services to others at 16 years old. I am passionate about providing as much comfort and reassurance as possible to both pets and their owners, as I know first hand how valuable the peace of mind can be. I was a Veterinary Technician (Nurse) in Canada for 15 years, specializing in critical care, emergencies, feral/timid animal bonding, pet behavioral issues, and rescue efforts like bottle feeding neonatals and handling/containing contagious diseases. While caring for your pet I will check their physical condition and notify you of any possible health concerns found. I do exceptionally well with timid/shy animals and am able to win over their trust quicker than most through gentle patience and proper physical communication. I can manage any medical conditions, chronic conditions, and treatments that can be done at home, as well as properly identify when and if veterinary attention is needed. I am also very comfortable with all exotic pets like birds, reptiles, and rabbits. I will treat your pet like they are my own as I believe all animal life is a blessing.

Shae is punctual and very attuned to my dog’s needs. He’s always happy to see her so I know he’s in good hands! She’s also a trained vet tech, which is particularly comforting with an older pet.
Shae is the perfect sitter for your pet. Very strong communication, and very attentive to the dogs needs. We have an energetic puppy but she is very calm with him, brought him for long walk, and given she has past veterinary experience is very knowledgeable to a pets needs. Couldn’t recommend more.
Shae was great with my cats. From the first meeting she was professional and caring towards my cats. I was at peace knowing that she was looking after my cats and they seem very happy with her. Would definitely recommend Shae.
I highly recommend Shaelyn! You won't find a more attentive, and caring person to care for your pets. She also works with medical needs which is what most of my pets need! One of my pets is diabetic and Shaelyn was great at managing that and giving her insulin. She also is so good with my timid kitty and also my spicy kitty (yes we have quite a few kitties lol!), both of who warmed up to her so fast! She also has done so well with my two dogs. I can't recommend Shaelyn enough, it is so refreshing to have someone I can completely trust caring for my pets!
