I do my best to make sure that your fluffy family is able to keep as much to their normal routine as possible. It is important that they feel comfortable while their family is away and I find that normal routine tends to help ease anxiety.

A typical day
Dogs need to use their noses to explore and experience their world. Our walks never involve tugging. I let them explore to their hearts content and never rush a walk. I also carry treats in the trunk of my car. Cats need stimulation just as much as dogs but obviously in a different way. I have a laser and lickable cat treats always available. With all that being said, I fully acknowledge that some of our friends just want to nap and cuddle while others just want their space. Recognizing what they need is something I pride myself on.

Pet care experience
I have owned cats my entire life and spent years volunteering with numerous animal rescue groups. I have been rescuing outdoor kittens since I was young and have had many pets from dogs too rabbits to guinea pigs to rats and mice and gerbals and reptiles and fish. While I am new to the rover platform, I have countless years of experience with all types of animals from skittish cats to fear aggressive doggies and am looking forward to meeting your special furry family.
Reviews

Scott was fantastic while taking care of our cats for the weekend. He clearly has lots of experience with cats and animals of all kinds. Scott made sure to ask good questions regarding their care needs which made me feel very comfortable having him watch our cats while we were gone. I will certainly be having Scott watch them again!
Second time using scott and he was wonderful as always!

Best sitter we've had from Rover so far. (We have talked to several sitters, we liked and were highly qualified). Scott was above and beyond. He had Gremlin be a lap kitty (which he isn't usually, unless he'sstressed) and gave him extra love. It was Gremlin's first time w/o his people since he lost his housemate Dany. Will definitely be our first go to from now on.
Scott was wonderful with our 3 dogs. One has stranger danger and he she warmed up to him with no question. Our puppy had some accidents and he made sure his crate was cleaned and dry. He was prompt and communicated very well. Would use him again in a heart beat!
