Attentive, Experienced Dog Lover
I have a nice house with a 3/4 acre lot. The cinder block walls and gates are very secure. It's in a safe neighborhood with nice parks in the area. In the past I have worked for several high end "Dog Hotels" in the area and have experience with a wide range of dogs all with varying needs. About this sitter: I have had dogs all my life and have spent the past 7 years working closely with several high end "Dog Hotels". While overall these places are ok, I have witnessed first hand mix ups in feeding, care and medicating due to the sheer volume of dogs and inexperienced, low paid staff. There also issues with disease, hygiene, and potty training issues that can result from staying at such establishments. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs all my life. About my yard I have a large securely fenced back yard.

Teddy had a lovely overnight stay at Scott’s! We got a really cute picture update of him playing with another mini dachshund, and in the morning Scott said he slept all night after a day of playing and fun. Will definitely be choosing Scott to watch Teddy again, thank you!
Scott was absolutely amazing! He is so friendly, responsive, and highly responsible. Drop-off and pick-up were super smooth and easy. I really appreciated that he kept me updated with pictures of my dog throughout the stay, which gave me complete peace of mind. My dog had a wonderful half-day playing with him and his three adorable, friendly dogs. I’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future. Highly recommend!

Scott and his wife did an excellent job! They have a lovely home that made our dog feel right at home. We can tell they loved our dog just as much as we do! We were able to be at peace knowing she was being watched after in a caring home. Will definitely be a returning customer and would highly recommend Scott.
This was the first time we used a dog sitter service, and it is SOO much better than the vet option and soooo worth the added cost. Scott accepted our 2 Toy Fox Terriers last minute for a week. When we dropped them off, he showed us his backyard and talked about his routine. (He has a very large dedicated space for the dogs to run, which was very appealing for our little guys with all their energy.) Each day he sent us an update with pics. On Christmas, he even sent a fun pic of the boys with the Grinch. That showed us that they are well cared for like they are his own. In addition, was so kind and accommodating when we were snowed in on our trip and needed an extra day. When we picked them up, he gave us a recap of the week. And when we took them home, it was like we had never left. We are so grateful to Scott and will be using him again soon, I’m sure.
Scott took great care of our guys! He also went above and beyond in applying some topical medicine on one of our guys recovering from an issue on their paw. (He is very sensitive and squirmy!) We really appreciated this and on top of this he is super nice and responsive! Would definitely recommend.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Generally around the neighborhood if needed. My house is on a 3/4 acre lot so walks usually aren’t needed. Your dog's sleeping arrangement This is entirely up to you. My dogs sleep in my bed but I will honor whatever you request. Time I'll spend with your dog I am home all day long and the dog will not be unattended. Individual arrangements will be made regarding walks, trips to the dog park or other special requests. I try to brush dogs daily depending on how cooperative they are. Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home and spend about 95% of everyday at home. Extra house-sitting services Not a problem.
