Hi! I’m Saskia —a lifelong dog lover with deep experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up in a rescue-loving home and have been around dogs most of my life. I currently have two of my own, a young hound mix who loves to play and an older hound who loves slow sniffing walks (and they both enjoy a good snooze between their chosen activities!) I’m especially comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, bully breeds, large dogs, and high-energy pups. Whether your dog needs gentle care, structured play, a calm presence, or a brisk walk to burn energy—I’ve got it covered. I understand how important consistency and trust are for your pet. I follow care instructions closely, provide regular photo updates, and keep communication clear and reliable. Your dog’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to assist with feeding, medications, crate routines, and leash training support. I’d love to meet you and your pup for a quick intro—just to make sure it’s a perfect fit. Looking forward to giving your dog the care and love they deserve while you’re away! 🐾💛

Schedule
I work from home with a flexible schedule to go for walks and provide play and interactions as needed. A trip to the dog park after work for those that enjoy that. Weekends I enjoy going for hikes at any of the nearby parks with the dogs so they can get their sniffs in.

I have a fenced in yard and my two rescue hounds will be happy to show your pup the ropes! Pups are allowed on the furniture and there’s a crate available for those that prefer a cosy spot.

A typical day
There is no typical day as I have the flexibility to adjust as needed for your pup. Whether it's quiet book club, playing with my young hound in the yard, going for strolls, or hitting up the awesome Brookhaven dog park, any and all can be on the menu to keep everyone entertained and happy.
