My home has a calm, cozy lake-house cottage vibe. We’re located in a quiet development on a low-traffic dirt road in the Lakeville/Hawley area. The neighborhood is peaceful, especially in the winter, and while summers can be a bit busier, it remains very walkable and relaxed. We have both a front yard and a backyard with a hill that leads down toward the lake, perfect for fresh air and scenic walks. Inside, the environment is calm and comfortable, with two couches (including a pull-out couch) and beds upstairs where dogs can relax and feel at home. There are no other pets in the home, and I’m home often to provide supervision, attention, and care throughout the day.
