Growing up in South Africa, dogs were always a huge part of my family. I have three of my own back home, so I understand just how important it is to leave your dog with someone you genuinely trust. My aim is to make every dog feel safe, relaxed and at home. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, routine, and individual needs so they can settle in comfortably while you’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes (although I currently have a max weight of 20kg) and breeds and I’m happy to administer medication, follow feeding schedules, and maintain your dog’s normal routine where possible. My home is best suited to dogs who: 🐾Are comfortable in a new home environment. 🐾Can be left for up to one hour if I need to pop out 🐾Are toilet trained and generally well settled. Unfortunately, I can’t accommodate: 🐾Dogs with a history of aggression towards people or other dogs. 🐾Dogs with severe separation anxiety that cannot be left for up to one hour. For longer bookings, I always recommend a meet & greet and sometimes a trial night beforehand so we can make sure we’re the right fit for each other and answer any questions you may have. During your dog’s stay, I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐾

Sarah is GREAT. She sent me lots of photos of Reggie while he was in her care for the day and night. I can tell he’s had a great time as he’s very tired haha. Would definitely book with Sarah again 😊

Sarah looked after our puppy while we were away on holiday and she was incredibly easy to work with and accommodating. We met her and the other dogs show was sitting beforehand and felt very comfortable with her, she is clearly a very experienced dog sitter
Winnie, had a wonderful stay with Sarah while we were on our holidays. Sarah sent lots of videos and photos to keep us updated. Winnie will be back!

Schedule
Dog sitting is my full-time job, so I’m at home with the dogs for most of the day. I may occasionally need to pop out, but I’m never away for more than an hour at a time.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat every dog as if they were my own. My apartment is clean, calm, and dog friendly, with access to a large shared garden and plenty of nearby walking routes.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I adapt the day to suit them. We usually start with a walk, followed by breakfast, playtime, and plenty of time to relax. Throughout the day we’ll enjoy more walks, enrichment, cuddles (if they enjoy them!), and rest. I stick as closely as possible to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and at home
