I’m a stay at home mom to a very active one year old. My son and I love to walk and fetch with our two pups and would love to help other families as well. Being a stay at home mom means I have a ton of flexibility throughout the week and weekend!

Information Sarah G. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know the following! - Temperament and behavior (is your dog anxious, aggressive, or calm?) This will help me anticipate how they might react to different situations during a walk. - Leash training (comfort level on or off a leash) Let me know if your pup tends to pull, resist, or even get nervous on the leash. - Health and physical condition (physical capabilities) Please advise if your pet has any injuries or is recently recovering from a surgery. This will help me understand their activity level. - Reaction to other animals/people (anxious, aggressive, overly excited, etc.) Advising your dogs temperament towards other dogs and people will help me execute a workout plan that’s safe for your pet and myself. - Proper gear (collar, leash, harness, etc.) Ensure you have a collar or harness that fits your dog properly. It’s vital that your dog is unable to slip out of these while on a walk for our safety. - Commands and training cues (here, sit, hold, fetch up, etc.) To communicate to your pet effectively on our walks, it’s important for me to know the commands they were trained with.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both mentally and physically. I work with our dogs at home by providing rewards in the form of mental challenges. A tired dog is a good dog meaning positive stimulation is good! I also love teaching new tricks/commands, and working to challenge dogs to make their play time a learning experience.

Pet care experience
Experience volunteering at a humane society, walking, bathing, and loving all pets. We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever with bird and water training. I’m skilled in hunting commands (verbal and hand signaling) as well as e-collar training. We also have a French Bulldog meaning I have additional training with small stubborn dogs who need extra patience and snuggles.
Reviews

Working with Sarah was great, she is super communicative and experienced. She sent pictures of her and maverick playing and gave us updates. We will definitely ask Sarah to help us out again.
Sarah is a very responsible pet sitter. She is a very caring, loving and understanding person. On many occasions she has watched my pets while I was out of town. She walked my dogs and took care of them and made sure they had food and water andplayed with them. We were very satisfied with her care. I would definitely recommend Sarah to take care of your pets.
Sarah watched our 3 corgis while we were in vacation and she was amazing. Our oldest dog has very bad separation anxiety and we were afraid that she wouldn’t do well with us gone. Sarah stopped by frequently and thankfully did very well with our older dog!
