Pet care experience
I love to have all sorts of little dogs in the home. I have one requirement that they cohabitate well with my old man dog. I do have a cat too but she always ignores dogs. Teeth brushing is not a problem, playtime is frequent, and hugs are unlimited. Walks consist of around the neighborhood blocks and to smaller neighborhood parks. On weekends we might go to the beach or other hikes. If your pup is as great at scaling the tallest of hills, he or she will come with us! Dogs are not caged in our home, but I can diaper them if there might be some incontinence issues. If you train them to be crated, they can be crated if they are more comfortable that way. Kongs, treats, and extra kibble is available. Please bring any blanket or bed that they love and feel comfortable with.

Reviews
As always, Sarah did a great job taking care of Pepper while we were out of town. Pepper has started recognizing Sarah's door when we pull up and always seems excited to go inside. Sarah is patient with Pepper's quirks, communicative, and was gracious and flexible when a flight delay made me late for pickup. I highly recommend her!
This was our second time leaving Pepper with Sarah, and our longest time away from her since we adopted her. Sarah did a great job communicating with us throughout our week away, sending pictures and videos and keeping us posted on how Pepper was doing. Pepper can be a bit nervous at times but it is obvious she had a great time at Sarah's house and Sarah made her feel at ease. Sarah is a great sitter who I'd recommend to anyone!
Sarah is wonderful!
Sarah was patient with our pup on her first overnight away from us. She was very communicative throughout the visit and put us at ease when our dog had some trouble settling in. It was a great first experience for our nervous dog and her nervous owners! I also appreciated that she only takes smaller dogs as Pepper doesn't always feel confident around bigger dogs. I would definitely recommend Sarah to other small dog owners.

In general, its good to know how long a walk usually is and anything I should be aware of on a walk such as if they are weary of other dogs or children, how many times they poop, etc. Please also let me know if there are any behaviors you wish to NOT reinforce in the home but also what games or training you would LIKE to reinforce or practice. For boarding or daycare, your dog MUST play be able to cohabitate peacefully with other dogs/my dog.
A typical day
If near Deering, my favorite place to go is Baxter Woods. Two light is another favorite. If they love fetch, we have plenty of things to fetch in home :)

My work schedule is fairly flexible but it fluctuates every week, so we’ll communicate to make sure I can accommodate the needs of your pooch. Dogs should be house broken for a standard work day.
