I worked for 7 years as a teacher. I started doing Rover in 2022 when I started taking classes for a career change. I was in grad school from 2024-2026 and recently started a career in speech language pathology. I still adore animals and can help with your pets in the evenings, some weekdays, and most weekends.

I love providing the love and attention that your dog needs. We can visit a park near my house, the quiet winding streets of your neighborhood or mine, hike the foothills, or go for a run if that is your dog's jam.

Pet care experience
Since college, I have taken care of the dogs, cats and farm animals of friends and neighbors. I also grew up with cats, dogs, parrots and a mix of different small furry creatures. Now, with my experience as a teacher, I am very observant of the needs of animals (not all that different from kids!) and am an incredibly caring person. My boyfriend and I have an 80 pound loving energetic dog, and taking care of him provides me immense joy. I am excited to extend the same love and care towards your pet.

Sara did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats while I was on vacation. They have a pretty specific diet and medication routine, and she did an excellent job following all of my instructions. She was also great about communicating while I was away, keeping me updated and even letting me know right away about a small fridge leak so I could address it. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cats were in such capable hands. I would recommend Sara to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and communicative pet sitter!
Had a bit of a misunderstanding with the timing of when we wanted to have her come over, but got it figured out. She accidentally broke a bowl but was kind enough to replace it! Followed our instructions and kept up with food, water and plant watering. Super nice person!
Sara was communicative, easy to schedule with, punctual, good with our two cats. Wouldn't hesitate to book her again!
