Pet care experience

Steady Energy for Stress-Free Stay

I became a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind right around 2000. It was a great program to help me stay in tune. My favorite take away - your emotions travel through the leash. It reminded me to stay focused on my 4-legged guy when we walked especially. I stayed a sitter for the non-profit even when I wasn't raising.

Sandra was amazing! I know my pup was in great hands with her. Excited to have her watch him again soon!

Sandra was easy to communicate with, and my dog seemed happy in her care. Rico is afraid of thunder and Sandra managed his anxiety with compassion. I also appreciate her flexibility with the scheduling.

Sandra is an excellent sitter! Our dog Chico was very happy to be with her! Definitely we will go back to her as needed and certainly highly recommend Sandra as a pet sitter!

It is evident that Sandra makes sure Chai feels safe and at home with her. She stayed the night for a couple nights with her, and I’m confident she was in good hands.

Everything went well with my dog's overnight stay. She got her walks and Sandra communicated with me throughout her stay with photos. Much appreciated Sandra! Hope to use your services again. Lisa H.

Schedule

I currently work FT - most days remote. My routine with my own was a morning walk to the entrance of the neighborhood (15-20 min). Mid-morning and mid-afternoon of just the street (~10 min). And a longer after dinner walk (~30 min.). And a night-night walk before turning in.

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture

Safety, trust & environment

I am currently without a furbaby, so yours would be my focus. I have a gated back deck we could hang on nice days. Leash walks throughout the day.

A typical day

Lots of good smells in the neighborhood, so they'll have opportunity to read the "daily newspaper". There is a toy bin where we can find a toy to play with that's fun and interesting.

I like to know as much information as possible about your dog. It helps me plan our day and I make sure to note anything that I want to watch for.
