I’ve been sitting at peoples houses for 15 years now. So I have lots of experience when it comes to staying at others houses. I will always keep the door locked and clean up the house before you come back home! I prefer to stay at your house because that is where your animals are most comfortable and can easily stick to their routine.

If your dog has any specific behavioral issues pls let me know ahead of time. I am also a dog trainer and can help train them if you’d like while I take care of them. I’m experienced in administering meds and bandage changes for ill pups or special needs dogs. I’d like to know what their energy level is and what their daily exercise routine looks like if they have one.

I love to take dogs i’m looking after to off leash dog parks near by or Luther bank dog park to swim! If dog parks are not your pup’s thing, then I know some great big open fields to take them to! If they aren’t 100% reliable off leash, no worries, I always keep new dogs on a long line. They might even get some recall training with the help of my dogs. 😉 My border collie is a pro ball catcher and has lots of energy. So exercise is very important to us in order to drain his energy, and we love to have friends come along! We also like to just cuddle up on the couch and watch some movies with more mellow dogs who prefer to stay inside. And if your dog just prefers walks on leash, I can accommodate that as well ☺️

I have been pet sitting for 15 years now and love every minute of it. I used to work at Seattle Humane as an Animal care giver. I’m a huge animal lover and my long term goal is to become a vet tech. My partner Tyler also frequently accompanies me taking dogs out to the park and housesitting with me. He is also a big animal lover, in particular cats! I’m experienced at administering medications, including insulin shots. I have 3 dogs of my own, 2 cats, and fish. I was also a horse owner for 5 years up until a few months ago. Important note: 🐾 For pet/house sitting I have to bring my smallest dog with me (25 lbs) as he was just diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer, Hemangiosarcoma. So he has to be monitored 24/7 as we don’t know when his time will come. He is very well behaved and has been with me to many house/pet sitting jobs. 💛 happy to do a meet and greet beforehand. They are amazing with other dogs, cats, farm animals (we used to live on a ranch). They both understand dog social cues very well and are calm and quiet in the house. I’m happy to do a meet and great beforehand to assess compatibility. I have experience caring for small animals to exotics such as rats, snakes, bunnies, birds, fish etc. I also have extensive knowledge when it comes to caring for livestock, from goats, cattle (steers and heifers), horses (all different type of breeds) mostly OTTB’s, sheep, llamas, chickens and more! I’d love to meet your pets and give them the best care, love and attention while you are away! I have many references from over the years and can provide some at your request! Samantha has been a caretaker for both of our dogs, one a puppy and the other a geriatric shorthaired pointer over the past few years. She was always reliable, showed up on time, sent videos every day, and texted with any concerns. She is flexible. She adeptly dealt with a minor health emergency. She went above and beyond and took the dogs with her to the dog park and played with them in our yars. She is good with all animals and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend her to any pet owner!
Samantha watched my horse for me for two winters while I was on winter break in college (around a month long each break) and took exceptional care of my mare! She always had her best intrest in mind and made sure she was happy and comfortable in the chilly winter months. Samantha gave me lots of good and detailed updates with pictures about how my mare was doing and what she did with her during the day. She was happy to change blankets, give medications, make warm mash, and even take care of an abscess while I was away. I cannot say enough good things about Samantha's level of care and would highly reccommend her to anyone!
Samantha is the most knowledgeable, caring, and loving pet caregiver that I personally know. Not only does she have over 10 years of experience of providing outstanding care and attentiveness, but that experience is with a wide range of animals. Beyond that, she has been able to express her loving philosophy of animals to me as well, which has changed my mindset in how one should raise and love an animal. My cats’ life has significantly improved in every single aspect I can think of due to her experience: diet, physical and mental well being, activity level, longevity, etc. I highly recommend Samantha Moore to be your pet caregiver above anyone else!
Sam has taken care of our young female Labrador Retriver forever. She does walks, playtime, and house sits. Our girl, 2 years old, has infinite energy and Sam knows how to work it out. She always comes back tired and happy. Sam always texts and keeps us up to date with pictures and videos of how Violet plays. We love having Sam in our lives and enriching our time with our dog.
