I am 33 and have taken care of family pets my whole life. As an adult with a 3 dog home, I learned the importance of in-home pet sitters. No one wants their pets stressed out while being boarded, etc. I’ve been dog/house sitting for 3 years now. In my home, I have 2 gentle male dogs and 1 aggressive female rescue. I successfully integrated them into a happy pack. I’ll love your animals like my own, giving you a peace of mind while you’re gone and providing a stress free environment for your pets!

Samantha is the best! So greatful she was our sitter. Samantha followed all the instructions I had to take care of my senior (18 yr) cat. Her and Noel became friends after a few days. I would definitely trust Samantha with my pets. She was even nice enough to leave additional lights on knowing we were going to come home late.

Sam has been dog-sitting for me since 2022, and she is highly trustworthy. If you have a larger dog, she is definitely your go-to person. I have a Boxer mix and a Staffordshire Terrier mix. Sam has stayed with them for as long as eight days at a time. She is very diligent in ensuring they have their walks and meals on schedule. The Staffordshire Terrier has faced some significant health issues, including a TPLO surgery and cancer, which resulted in the amputation of one leg. During her recovery, Sam continued to dog-sit, ensuring the Stafford received her medications and did her strengthening exercises. Even on days when the Stafford wasn't up for walking, Sam made sure that the Boxer got her walk and that the Stafford received some form of engagement. Sam's adaptability in handling various situations makes her an exceptional dog sitter.
Sam watches my dog when I go out of town on weekends or short trips. She does such a great job with my dog who is both active and loves to stay in. My dog is also a tri-PAWd and Sam is very accommodating to being able to help her up comfortably on the furniture, give her vitamins, and things like that
Samantha was fantastic!!! Easy to work with, super friendly and my dog loved her! Will use her again in the future highly recommend hiring her!
Samantha is passionate about dogs and takes great care of them, whether they’re her dogs or somebody else’s. She treats all dogs like her own and I would trust her with mine any day.

Schedule
I currently work full-time Monday- Friday 830-430. If within Kankakee County, I have the flexibility to stop by during the day if needed. Otherwise, pets will need to be able to be alone for 8 hours during week days.
