Treating your cats like family!
Hello! My name is Sam and I am passionate about cats. I have always lived with cats and have felt personal connections with each one. When I had college roommates, I lived with up to five cats at a time and made sure they were all equally loved and supported. I moved to WA last summer and while looking for a career, I began volunteering at the Humane Society to get out of the house, and it was the best decision I made. Half of my work was on kennel crew where I cleaned and maintained six rooms of cat kennels, from adoptable to just-rescued and kittens. And boy are kittens messy! It was a humbling, important, and physical job. The other half of my volunteer work was cat socialization and enrichment, where I made sure each cat in my room was given their own time to play, roam, and relax. I absolutely loved this work when it fit into my schedule. Booking notes: Drop-In Visits are typically 30-60 minutes 1-2x per day, which are best for feeding, cleaning, and some play time. House Sitting is generally 3+ hours and is best for extended companionship and company. Please note that since I work remote, I am available approx. 8am-4pm for house sitting.

My method for care: I understand each cat has their own wants and needs. I give your cat space to allow them to get comfortable with me, and identify what your cats like most, where/how they are most comfortable, etc. I let them set the energy level and boundaries.

Sam was everything we hoped for & needed! We really appreciated & looked forward to her daily pics/updates. She clearly gave our fur boys the attention they needed. Came home to a clean house, when I know that didn’t come easy. Can’t wait to use her again in the future, thanks Sam! 🥰

Our cats love Samantha and we wouldn’t choose anyone else to care for them while we’re away! Samantha went above and beyond to make sure our cat’s automatic feeders were working when technical difficulties came up. Our cats can be shy and standoffish with new people but are totally out of their shells with Samantha! Thank you for another great experience :)
Samantha was so great with our kitties! She was very responsible, on time, took care of them and played with them. They adored her. We will definitely request for Samantha again!

House Sitting is generally 3+ hours and is best for extended companionship and company. Please note that I am only available for DAYTIME HOUSE SITTING and I am not available overnight.
