After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in psychology and zoology (2011), I started my own budding pet sitting business with a clientele of approximately a dozen individuals. I offered petsitting in my home, as well as the clients'. I also offered dog walking services. I stepped away from my business in 2012 to pursue a career in zookeeping as a primate zookeeper at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, FL. I left this position to pursue volunteer work in the jungles of Ecuador where I worked as an animal caretaker and volunteer coordinator at Merazonia, a rescue rehabilitation center for Ecuadorian wildlife. I currently work at Sea Life Park caring for the seabirds as a wildlife keeper.

She followed instructions, was quick to reply, and best of all she took a few extra minutes to make sure he recovered well and used her best judgment to end a hot walk when it was time to do. I've worked over 10 years in professional animal care in a variety of settings. I've worked 5 years as a kennel caretaker at veterinary hospitals, dog daycares and the Humane Society.
