Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs anywhere from Springer Spaniels to Cane Corsos, and I absolutely adore every breed. My experience doesn’t end with dogs; I have taken care of tortoises, bunnies, and guinea pigs, too! I know how to give medication, and of course all the necessities. I have also taken care of dogs with disabilities, and injuries. I know how to wrap stitched wounds, as well as change gauze, and apply ointments the correct way! I am here to help and would love to meet y’all’s pups!

Absolutely incredible experience with Samantha from start to finish! If you’re scrolling through Rover trying to figure out who to trust with your fur babies and your home—stop right now. You’ve found your person. Samantha is the gold standard of pet sitters, and if I could give her ten stars, I’d find a way to give her eleven. From the very first message, Samantha was warm, responsive, and professional. When we met in person, she was just as lovely—super friendly, clearly experienced, and instantly connected with both of our dogs (which is no small feat). We were upfront about our concerns, especially since one of our pups has serious anxiety and doesn’t warm up to new people easily. Let’s just say… he now has a new favorite human. I don't know what kind of dog-whispering magic she has, but he bonded with her like she was a long-lost family member. It was heart-melting and honestly a huge relief. She kept in constant communication while we were away—sending updates, pictures, and little notes about how the pups were doing. We never had to wonder or worry. Every medication was given on time, every detail in our (admittedly detailed) care sheet was followed perfectly, and the dogs looked downright spoiled in every photo. On top of taking excellent care of the dogs, Samantha was incredibly respectful of our home. Everything was left spotless, and you could tell she genuinely cared—not just about our pets, but about making sure we came home to a calm, clean space. That’s something you don’t always get, and it didn’t go unnoticed. It honestly felt like we left our dogs and our house with a trusted family member, not a sitter. When we got back, the dogs were relaxed, happy, and maybe a little disappointed that it wasn’t Samantha walking through the door. We’re starting to think she might be their favorite now—and honestly, we’re not mad about it. So if you're on the fence or unsure who to choose—choose Samantha. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat and wouldn’t dream of asking anyone else now that we've found her. She’s that good.

I think I would just need to know about certain fears or quirks that a dog may have that might take me off guard! Like if there’s a storm and your dog is afraid of thunder, or has sensory issues with noise!

anything from walks, parks, or playing in the yard! I love tug-of-war with dogs, obviously fetch, or anything that keeps the dog occupied! Usually, you can tell what a dog wants to do :)
