Hi there! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting and dog walking since I was 15. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets as if they were their own. Growing up, my family always had 2-3 dogs in the house, so I’m very comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds, including Vizslas, Spaniels, Dachshunds, Hounds, Poodles, Labradors, Great Danes, Bichons, and many mixed breeds, all with different temperaments and needs. I also grew up with 2 cats in the home, and I feel very comfortable caring for cats as well! I have experience caring for everything from brand new puppies to elderly dogs with sight and hearing difficulties, so I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s routine, energy level, and comfort. I’m patient, attentive, and confident with dogs who may need extra reassurance, gentle handling, or a little more time to feel settled. As I’ve become an adult, I’ve naturally become the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need pet sitting, dog walking, or general care. Dogs usually take to me very naturally, and I’m a huge animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with them. In my early 20s, my aunt started her own dog boarding and walking business and mentored me, which gave me even more hands-on experience with professional pet care, routines, safety, and making sure every dog feels comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Whether you need walks, drop in visits, or sitting, I’ll care for your pet with patience, kindness, and attention to detail. Their safety, happiness, and comfort will always be my priority. I live in Otterbourne (10 min from the center of Winchester), where there are lots of walking trails and pet friendly spaces. I also have a large garden behind my flat! For the first time in a long time, I don't currently have any pets of my own. I live in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath flat with my husband (also a massive animal lover!).

Schedule
Pet care fits really well into my daily routine because I work around 20 hours per week remotely and set my own schedule. This means I have a lot of flexibility throughout the day, evenings, and weekends to give your pet the time, attention, and care they need. For boarding, I’ll be home often and able to spend plenty of time with your pet, whether that means taking them for walks, playing with them, keeping them company, or helping them feel comfortable and settled in a new environment. I know how important routine and reassurance can be, so I’ll always do my best to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. For dog walking, drop-in visits, and check-ins, I’m also very flexible and happy to come to your home at a time that works best for you and your pet. I would love to build a trusting relationship with your pet over time, so they feel happy, comfortable, and excited to see me whenever I visit.

In my home, I will make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm and welcoming environment. My flat is very spacious, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large sitting room, an office, and a kitchen, so there is plenty of room for your pet to relax, play, and settle in comfortably. I only allow 1 pet for care at a time so I can make sure they get the appropriate attentiveness and care they need. I also have a large garden outside, which is great for supervised fresh air, playtime, and toilet breaks, as well as lots of lovely walking trails and pathways around Otterbourne for dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring. I also have a car, so if you are happy for me to do so, I can take your dog to nearby parks or open spaces for a change of scenery and extra exercise. I will always follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, rest, and any specific instructions you provide. In a pet owner’s home, I will be respectful of both your pet and your space. I’ll make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, receives plenty of attention, and feels safe and secure while you are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, litter care, clean-ups, check-ins, and regular updates so you can feel reassured that your pet is in good hands.
