Country and lake life for your pets
I live along the shore of Lake Superior, about 10 minutes north of Duluth. I grew up with cats and dogs around all the time. More recently I lived with a roommate who had 3 dogs (small and medium-sized) who I cared for during the day all week. Love animals of all kinds. I try to walk 4-5 miles each day on my quiet dirt road and also along Lake Superior right by my house. I work remotely and am basically always home, so your pet will have their needs taken care of!

Sam is a great sitter. I have brought my lab/pit mix, Phoebe, to his house twice now. This most recent time it was very hot and not only did he take the time to let me know how Phoebe was feeling, he also called the emergency vet to get a check on her symptoms. My dog was fine and just tired from the heat. Phoebe always loved the beach but was afraid of the water and now since being with Sam at the lake, she now loves going into the lake. You can see the big smiles on her face in the photos. I will continue to contact Sam for the times I need a sitter. I know she is well cared for when with Sam.

I recently had the pleasure of leaving my smelly guy, Fred, in Sam's care, and it was honestly the most stress-free experience I could have asked for. Fred, who can be a bit shy at first, warmed up to Sam pretty much instantly. I received updates with fun anecdotes about Fred's adventures and pictures that captured his pure joy. It was clear Fred was having a blast, and that put my mind at ease immensely. It's evident that Sam truly cares about the well-being of his furry clients. If you're looking for a dog sitter who will exceed your expectations and leave your pup feeling like a million bucks (or rather, a million belly rubs!), then Sam is the perfect choice.
Fully recommend Sam for taking care of your dog or cat! He's an animal lover who's also dependable, trustworthy, and friendly and our cat Pickles loves him.
Sam is a very kind human and even kinder to animals. Pets seem to love him, especially cats. I would trust Sam to take care of anything shy of a newborn baby.

Harmonogram
I work remotely and have no set work schedule, so I'm very flexible. I try to get outside and walk every day. I also have trails by my house to walk on.

I have no pets and I live by myself. I have a medium-sized yard, but plan on keeping any dogs or cats on leashes when we go outside. I have a small-ish house but plenty of room for pets - they could have their own bedroom if they want!
Typowy dzień
Typical day includes taking the pet outside for a short walk/potty breaks every few hours. When the weather is nice, I will work on the deck looking towards my backyard, so I can leash them up and they can run around in the backyard. If its too hot, they can go inside to the AC. Sometime in the mid- to late-afternoon I like to break up the workday with a 4-5 mile walk, but can of course adjust it based on the dog's fitness level, disposition, and the weather. Then I like to work and watch the Twins or TWolves in the evenings, and will have fires in the backyard some nights. I also do some gardening so they can roam around while I do that. Lots of time to throw a ball around throughout the day, too. If your dog loves swimming, we can walk down to Lake Superior. Lots of outdoor fun to be had!
