I work flexibly from home and am available for all kinds of sitting and drop ins. I own a well maintained vehicle, so if there were ever an emergency and I needed to get to the Vet Clinic asap, I would not have to rely on public transportation.

Something as small as the color of a food scoop handle could mean a pet gets the wrong food, which could have serious repercussions. Attention to detail is important, especially if your pet has any special needs. I’m also a very tidy person who cleans up after themselves and is conscientious of the responsibility I hold in someone else’s home.

I love being as engaged as the animals limitations will allow. I’m a frequent flyer at local dog parks, walking through the gardens, and I love playing games that will keep them engaged and expend their energy in healthy ways.

I have over 26 years of animal care on top of running an ethical animal supply store. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, small pets (hamsters/mice/squirrels/rats/guinea pigs/tarantulas), reptiles, amphibians, aquatic species, all farm fowl and home kept birds, horses, cows, bulls, and donkeys. I have experience in the full life cycle of animal care, from using incubators and syringe feeding to providing geriatric care.

Sam has been caring for my cats and dogs for years and they all love him. He’s great at remembering what everyone needs and keeping me informed. You can tell he really loves animals and treats them all like his own. Highly recommend.
Sam is outstanding will all kinds of pets. He has cared for dogs, cats, ferrets, chickens, ducks and reptiles. He is very gentle and has a real connection with all animals. His work ethic and reliability are excellent and I do not hesitate to recommend him.
