Pet care experience
I've used Rover both part- and full-time for over a year and a half now, so I have a lot of experience working both with this app and a wide variety of pets! I’ve walked and house sat for dogs of all sizes and a wide variety of temperaments, so I’m sure I’ll get along well with your pup. I've also worked with a wide range of other pets, including cats, snakes, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Personally, I’ve owned many pets over the years, including two cats and a dog currently. So while my professional work with pets goes back a few years, my love and care for them has been lifelong! I just finished up my degree at the UW in Seattle and moved to the Tacoma area a few months ago. So I definitely have plenty of experience with working with pets in urban areas and will always prioritize your pet's health and safety. I also have experience with caring for older pets and administering oral medication.

Sage was very accommodating on a last minute booking. She was very communicative, sent wonderful updates on my three cats and even made our skittish former-stray feel comfortable enough to come out. I would recommend Sage for any cat care needs.
Sage is very professional and detail oriented. She has been a pleasure to work with and Rocky seemed very happy meeting her. He's a very shy kitty and particular about who he makes an appearance for but came out to get some love and attention when she did her last couple of visits. Everything went so smoothly and I'm grateful for her help while I was out of town for the holiday. Highly, highly recommend her services!!!🙏🏽🤍😺
Sage took great care of our cats! I appreciated her taking time to play with them and send pictures. Happy to have her back again and appreciated her looking after our house and pets while we were away.
Loved having Sage drop-in to check on my two dogs. Sage was also flexible when I had to add an extra visit last minute. She was responsive and punctual, as well. Can't wait to rebook her for my dogs in the future.

For each new client, I arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to discuss further details with you. While many of the questions I ask are pet-centered, I will also ask necessary questions about your home’s security. For the comfort of your pet, I do my best to stick to whatever routine they’re used to, including outdoor vs. indoor time if applicable. I will not take your pet anywhere that we have not previously discussed. If something unexpected comes up during the stay, you will be informed or consulted as soon as possible.

I’ve worked with a very wide variety of pets, so there isn’t much I haven’t encountered yet. However, if your pet requires any special care or attention, such as being distrusting of new people or needing very rigorous care, please let me know! I’m usually available to devote all of my time to your pet, but on the small chance that I’m not I’d rather you find someone more suited as soon as possible!
A typical day
As mentioned previously, I will meet with you before the start of the booking to get all the details on your pet. If your pet is anxious and needs routine, I will do my best to adhere to what their usual day might look like. Even if your pet is more easy-going, I’ll definitely make note of what makes them happy and incorporate it into our day! No matter what, I'll give them lots of love and do my best to make them feel safe and cared for.
