My name is Sagan. I love all types of animals and have been around just about everything from hermit crabs to horses. Animals are a passion of mine. While you are away, I am more than happy to report in with texts, emails , and/or photos so you know what is going on. I know it can sometimes be scary leaving your pets behind so if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll treat all the pets I take care as part if they are part of my family. Below is some additional information about my place and experiences. Dogs: I live in a large condo with a large back deck area where I have created a potty area for the dogs. I have also installed a dog door so the dogs can access the outside area anytime they want. It can also be closed and locked if that is not something you would want them to be able to do. There are also two parks close by where we can go walk and play. In addition, there are two dog parks near my place so we can go to them if that is something your dog enjoys. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for many years. I have experience with all types of dogs from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds. I even have experience administering medicine and taking care of dogs with special needs. Cats: I also have a lot of experience with cats. I used to have cats myself. It is just not the right time for me to have one now. I love cats and their unique personalities. I know how to take care of their litter boxes, food and water, etc. I promise to take really good care of your feline companion(s). Other Animals: I can take care of more than just your dogs and cats. As I mentioned before, I have experience with all sort of animals. I have even boarded a hamster for several months before. I also have a bird and have lots of experience taking care of them. My Animals: I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that is super friendly with other animals and dogs. She just wants to be friends with all of them. She is use to all shapes and sizes. She loves to run and play ball. I have a Conure. He is over 18 years old. He has been with me through so much. He can handle just about anything. He grew up around all sorts of dogs and cats. But don’t worry he is kept away from dogs and cats unless I know that they can get along with each other. Currently, I work from home so I am able to hangout and play with the pets throughout the day. Starting in August, I will be working from the office Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. So I will not be able to do day care those days and if board with me on those days, the dogs would need to be ok being alone for 8 hours. I always follow an owners rules and guidelines, especially when it comes to food an treats. I separate dogs when they are eating just in case. I don't want them to share food and get sick or get upset with another dog being around while eating. I will only take in two dogs (beside my own) so that I can make sure all the dogs get along and can get a lot of attention throughout the day. When I take in another animal or pet I will make sure to let you know so that we can make sure it is right for your pet. For example, if your dog doesn't get a long with other males dogs then let me know. I will make sure not to take care of another male dog while your dog is here. Please communicate with me so I understand your dogs needs and wants to make sure we all have a great visit.
