Hi! I’m a marine biologist with over three years of professional animal care and animal husbandry experience, and caring for animals is both my career and my passion. For more than a year, I worked as an Animal Care Technician alongside veterinary technicians, where I performed daily animal welfare assessments, monitored clinical health and behavior, and helped ensure animals maintained excellent overall health and well-being. That experience taught me to recognize subtle changes in behavior or condition and reinforced the importance of compassionate, attentive care. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have three cats of my own, so I understand that pets are family. Whether I’m caring for energetic puppies, senior pets, shy cats, or high-energy dogs, I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe every pet deserves individualized care. Before each visit, I’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions so I can provide a stress-free experience that’s tailored specifically to them. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddle time, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m happy to adapt to their needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. With my professional animal care background, I’m trained to be observant, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and behavior. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine to minimize stress. I’ll carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and enrichment instructions, ensure doors, gates, and harnesses are secure, and treat your home with the same respect I would my own. Communication is one of my priorities, so you can expect regular photo and video updates throughout my visits. For dog walks, I also love sharing my Strava walk summary so you can see where we explored, along with the distance and time we spent together. At the end of each stay, I provide a personalized Pet Report Card summarizing your pet’s adventures, routines, behavior, and any memorable moments, so you can feel connected even while you’re away. If I ever notice anything unusual with your pet’s behavior, appetite, or overall well-being, I’ll contact you promptly so we can determine the best course of action together. My goal is for you to return home to a happy, healthy pet and complete peace of mind, knowing they were cared for with the same attention, professionalism, and compassion I give my own animals.

Sadie is the only person I will trust with my two high energy Dalmatians. I am very particular about who I trust with my dogs because they are both high maintenance and require special handling. Her background in Marine Biology soothes my anxieties as well in knowing that she would be able to spot if anything was wrong with my dogs while in her care. She sends plenty of text updates and photos and even tracks their walks and sends the stats! She is also great about answering her phone when I’ve wanted to check in on the babies. I’ve used Sadie as a pet sitter over night on multiple occasions. I will literally change my vacation if she can’t watch them because she is that trustworthy. It’s is hard to find someone you can trust with a high energy and active breed. I’ve recommended her so many times to friends looking for a pet sitter in and out of Rover. My dogs get so excited to see her and that’s how I know they’re in good hands

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work full-time Monday through Friday (typically 8:00 AM–4:00 PM), but I have a flexible schedule and can often adjust my work hours to accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits. This makes me a great fit for drop-in visits, dog walks, and cat care throughout the week. I’m also available for overnight house sitting in your home, where your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. On weekends, my schedule is very flexible, allowing me to dedicate more time to longer walks, multiple drop-in visits, overnight stays, and personalized pet care. I always strive to provide dependable, consistent care that works around both your schedule and your pet’s unique needs.
